I hope Fransiska Ratnasari can win this event. A victory here might just be the tonic for her to be motivated for the challenges ahead! Just like Maria Kristin Yulianti did 3 years ago in the Singapore and Indonesia Int Challenges 2006.

So, the lineup in WS will be:
    Fransiska Ratnasari vs Nitchaon Jindapon
Rosaria Yusfin Pungkasari [4] vs Maria Elfira Christina [7]

Meanwhile, Dionysius Hayom Rumbaka is good for another title.
Hendra A. Gunawan/Vita Marissa might also win the XD title after they beat the top-seed. With participations in the Macau and Chinese-Taipei GP Golds, they will easily reach top 50 with just 6 tournaments.

Hau-Ge, please tell BWF to update the rankings for MOST of the INA newly formed INA pairs/singles, such as:
    Hendra A. Gunawan/Vita Marissa -- 12,350 pts (3 tourneys)
    Fran Kurniawan/Pia Bernadet Zebadiah -- 14,720 pts (4 tourneys)

I liked the old rankings display format... It was easier to navigate and more informative... I don't know why BWF had to use this new format to display the rankings...

If only Febe were still in form, we could have seen 4 INA WS in the SF ...[bad for the tournament organizers, though] ...I'm sure they would prefer more INA vs. non-INA in the SF and F round... :p Better TV ratings that way... :D

Febe was just not in the terrific shape she was in... I heard her coach mentioned that her peak performance was the finals of Australian Open GP versus Yip P. Y. ...Febe was just so sharp and unstoppable that day. Afterwards, her form slowly deteriorated and dropped in the 3rd week... :p

The shuttlecock used in this tournament is very 'slow'... Plus there is the 'strong wind draft' factor... Players with a lot of power like Nana will have an advantage over many players. 'Touch' players with not much power like Febe usually will have problems.
