Unfortunately from JOSS we only manage to bag one title from MD as TH lost to BCL :(
TH crumbled again in finale and he need to wait a lil longer to finally get his 1st ever SS title :p
Well this is 1st SS title for MK/HS after Kido's illness as well as for INA camp since quite a long time
This year, overall we only get 2 out of 40 SS titles from total 8 SS tourneys
    Quite dissapointing, though :(
Hope INA will get the better outings in the rest of SS tourneys (Denmark, France, China, HK)
Good luck for all INA players!

Btw i'm a bit afraid bout SDK and Greysia Pollii's injuries. Any recent news?
Esp. for SDK, he already lost lots of WR pts as he unable to defend his titles in Indonesia, China Masters and Japan Open SS
His WR already dropped to outside Top 10, rite?
Hope his marriage didn't really start to take a toll on him, though
    LOL, just kidding
    Hehehe :D :D
If he unable to get back in best shape right in time, i'm afraid his WR will "terjun bebas" furthermore,
Just like what happened to MKY :( :(

Psst, some 'friend' will respond, "Haiyah, Kido/Hendra can only win because LYD/JJS didn't participate..."

Oh, c'mon! At least we got 1! Better than nothing.
Gen. Djoko must be quite relieved by this result. :p
Let's see. We got 1 title... and 2 players injured. :(

Hmm... 'That thread' got locked, meh?

Yeah, SDK WR is #12 now (per 24th September/09). And more painful is Maria Kristin, her WR is #52, decline so fast:mad:

Am wondering what our Indonesian neighbours think of the current hot topic in Malaysian Badminton. the national player Tan Chun Seang banned from BWF tournaments for 2 years for quiting badminton because of 'personal problems'.

What are your reaction? is it any of the following????

    1) totally not fair to the player
    2) Laugh out loud. Malaysian players are so spoiled and immature
    3) Who's Tan Chun Seang????
    4) Don't care

Do share your thoughts if ok. Sorry if I sort of hijack. But just want to know our negihbour opinion. Thanks.

Compare to PBSI done, I chosed #1
PBSI let Hendra/Alvent & Vita Marissa played independently without any fee transfer.
As for Taufik Hidayat & Flandy Limpele, I think their dedication is enough, no need fee transfer.

    I'm divided between 1 & 4...

Still, I don't know the true story why TCS quit. Really family problem or...? If he indeed lied and used this reason as an excuse to quit national team so that he can play under a club's wing, then perhaps... I consider the ban as a punishment by BAM. I mean, if only he was a little more honest.

I know the whole story of TCS....to make story short..TCS did not tell the truth to begin with...pretending to be sick and did not attend the training and got caught doing "someting" ( I cant tell the activities )....next day..he announced he quit due to family problem....I do not know it is fair or not..I cant decide

    5) Let TCS pay some sort of transfer fee to get out of his "contract" with BAM.

If TCS is fair and just say he does not like the training methods of the MAS National Team [too hard, ineffective, whatever...] or he doesn't like the overall management [lack of clarity, chemestry, or fairness...], then: he should just plainly resign and BAM allow him to play outside the MAS national team, but still represent MAS, similar to Taufik, Vita-Hendra, etc. still representing INA despite not being in the INA national team... A democratic country should just do this to respect everyone's right.

If, on the other hand, [from what I heard] he is not disciplined and somewhat a troublemaker within the MAS 2nd tier squad, then went on to make up stories such as personal family problems etc and being dishonest about his real intentions of quitting, then I agree with BAM: ban him for 2 years! :p Let that be a lesson for everyone in MAS! ;) I think the PBSI management should do the same if this was a case in INA... :)

I agree. I Think that option is stated in his contract. I don't think he is willing and tried to get out of it.

I'm sure I don't have ALL the facts tho.

INA combined forces of Pelatnas, club (Djarum), and independent shuttlers make us proud by winning 3 1/2 titles (WS, WD, MD, and XD) in Vietnam Open GP.

Maybe it's nothing compared to SS titles, but, any victories will always be appreciated. Congrats for all the winners! :)

Lol yes, Ina has been good even if the national team isn't in his best form this year.
Perhaps the indonesian badminton is showing us the way to the high level : the end of nationals teams and the start of the independant era, like in tennis !

Congrats to the old Flandy, still winning !
