    I don't think we need to find a taller partner for Gloria. She needs an older partner...that I think is quite important if she wants to progress faster.

    This is not convincing and it will be strange if BWF officials allowed it without penalty. Imagine what would happen if others have a chance to give the same reason.

    When the players entered the competition they are expected to know when it will end.

    Yup, invitational and Ratchanok will be scheduled to face Yao Jie tomorrow : http://www.tournamentsoftware.com/s...1A5655-F0D4-40E1-B0B6-A6F1266B966F&d=20111227

    Yeah, as predicted INA won 1 title here from three finals. Andrei/Christopher forced Kawamae/Sato to fight extra hard before the Japanese sealed the match with very close margin at decider, nice performance!

    Yes, very impressive seen Andrei/Christoper performance last night although lost. Their performance really was better than Rijal/Debby in the Final. Hopefully PBSI more often send Andrei/Christoper to participate in tournament thus they can be more experience.

    Yeah, in the end Taufik was the winner MS title. Congrats Taufik! :)

    Can anyone confirm whether the Invitational Tournament offers any WR points?

    No ranking pts, just money and a free trip to Copenhagen.

    It wouldn't be fair to offer WR points when only;
    * 6 players are invited to the Mens Singles
    * 4 players are invited to the Womens Singles
    * 4 pairs are invited to the Mens Doubles
    * 4 pairs are invited to the Mixed Doubles

    All the more unjustified!

    Resulting from the WO, Rat gets more points than Porntip, who currently has a higher WR than Rat. Why should not Rat give a WO to her higher ranked teammate? What implication it will have on her and non-THA players who are trying to qualify for LOG?

    :D:D:D Let ALL giants beware of Taufik. :D:D:D

    Anyway, I expected Taufik to win the title in this tournament; And my guesses for this tournament were spot-on;

    Don't say it.

    Otherwise LYB and supporters of the walkovers method could be angry with you. :D:D:D

    We'll have to wait who's next and whether BWF will make a laughing stock of themselves by not taking any action.

    Mighty impressed with young Sourabh Verma, though! It will be interesting to see how he shapes up over the next year...

    When Sourabh Verma was to play Taufik Hidayat, I gave;

    * In fitness........Sourabh to defeat Taufik 70%:30%
    * In skill............Taufik to defeat Sourabh 80%:20%
    * In experience...Taufik to defeat Sourabh 90%:10%

    In future, Sourabh Verma should do well after acquiring more skill and experience.

    We shall see. :D:D:D
