So, with 1 title at hand, I am hoping for Fransiska Ratnasari to win her 2nd IC title this year and for Yoga Ukikasah/Joko Riyadi to win their first title.

Alamsyah Yunus won in the battle of the ex-Pelatnas players. I thought Tommy would win it.

So, it has been a productive season for Alamsyah, winning 2 IC titles (Indonesia and India) as well as 1 GPG title. With the victory he achieved today, he will surpass Hayom's ranking and possibly rise up to the top 20, his best ever position!

He also reached QF at the INA GPG and SF at the Vietnam IC, Australia GP, India GP. He competed in 2 SS (INA and Japan) and reached R16 in one of them. He also reached R16 at the Chinese-Taipei GPG and Vietnam GP.

Tommy Sugiarto will also reach top 40, with 3 IC titles won this year! Not bad at all really, esp since most of us have lost hopes in him after he left Pelatnas.

I believe both he and Tommy Sugiarto will choose more or less the same set of tourneys for next year and try to maintain top 30-40 ranking positions. Both have also registered for the Malaysia SS next month and they have to go through the Qualifying Rounds (competing with players like Lee Hyun Il, Wang Zhengming, Wong Wing Ki, Chan Yan Kit, Chou Tien-Chen, Hsueh Hsuan-Yi, Andre Kurniawan Tedjono, and Przemsylaw Wacha). It will be an interesting qualification session to watch!

Joko Riyadi/Yoga Ukikasah also won their first ever title as a pair. I will like to see more of them next year and probably they will be competing in IC, GP and GPG levels to consolidate their ranking.
