he is the first player in the reserve list of men's singles. As momota is not participating, he will get the chance.
Infosys international challenge 2022 Winners MS Sourabh verma WS Tanya Hemanth XD Aswini/Sai prateek WD shikha/Aswini Ruthvika shivani gadde and Mithun manjunath , both of them are runner ups again.
I'm furious with BWF management. They only focus on changing scoring system to 11 of 5 sets. in the ongoing world junior mixed team championship, Bwf tournament software don't have a livescore tab.
Live score is there. Please check it. Go to this BWF website. Bwf.tournamentsoftware.com Actually, team events are going on. They are playing with 21 point system only. Not 11 points of 5 sets
At that moment live score wasn't available. They have add it after some time. I mean that the BWF president only focuses on changing score the system to 5 sets of 11 rather than developing the popularity of badminton among other countries as he tried it twice in annual general meetings.
Watched some matches of india vs china in world juniors. It is sad to say that indian juniors are not upto the mark. There is no hunger. Their body language is already defeated when entering court. Some positives in Bhargav and unnati . That's all. Disappointed. I expected Shankar to play MS. But he is missing. No idea.
Anyone here has any news whether the team selected in WJC consists of our best junior players ? I only know Sankar, Anupama and Unnati. Yesterday they won 3-2 against Australia. They lost in MD and MS. Either Australia has improved or India has regressed. Whatever it is, we have to beat Australia in a better way to showcase status quo or improvement. Bleak chances for them I suppose. Let’s see.
Meanwhile Diwali is coming, I hope all of you guys are safe and enjoy this festive season. Denmark Open also happening. My God, we’re seeing badminton after so long, I miss pre covid days man.
@mohans , do you know what happened to shankar muthuswamy subramanian?. He did not play a single match. Is he injured?. We will play our playoffs from tomorrow in world juniors.
I don’t actually know. I’m assuming he is being preserved for playing the individual events/knockout matches. I read somewhere his coach mentioning that they have their medal goals set for this year’s junior world championships. Recently, I saw YouTube clips of his matches against some senior players in the south zone inter state meet. For his age, he has a solid basic game. Like you mentioned, his attacking game is still a work in progress. I’m interested to see how far he goes in the individual event Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Actually, he played Infosys badminton international challenge., he gave a walkover in R16 to Meiraba. I thought he gave the walkover because he is about to join the junior team for worlds. I have a doubt whether he has any minor niggles or injury, so that coaches gsve him some rest for individual tournaments?. As you said, his basic game is solid. But he does not know how to finish a rally. Still long way to go. At his age, Sen was in beast mode.
Both Anupama and Rakshitha shree lost in early stages. Only Unnati hooda is left in the fray of world junior championships 2022. Anupama is top seed. Her score was 15-21, 10-21against chinese. This is her standard. Our junior rankings are just gimmicks. They are reflection of number of tournaments they participated. That's all. Very disappointed by her
True. Let’s see how deep Unnati and Sankar can go in this tournament Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
