So far, LCW shines with an 18minute annihilation of Chetan from India. Simon Santosa took on KBH and WCH and won. This boy is learning fast. Dicky Palyama -- upsetting PG, he deserves a medal. Who else ? Chen Jin and Yu are looking like they will be there in the last 8.
impressive frm Chong Wei so far... he must keep his composure and keep it up... i think he can make it to the finals this time... probably winning it... look at how roslin troubled him yday... but it may be a different thing as well in finals.... big surprise from Dicky yday hahaha.... Simon also doin a great job disposing 3 Msians in a row (ugh....).....
I agree. Dicky's win over Peter Gade was the biggest upset of the tournament. Simon is also in good form. I hope Chong Wei can maintain his touch throughout the competition.
Simon Santosa has become a big "Malaysian Killer" in the tournament so far. His performance is quite impressive beating 3 Malaysian player in a row!
Well, i don't think LCW was impressive yesterday when he won against Chetan Anand...His real test will be CJ
what about the scottish girls beating the two japanese girls? the japanese were surely favourites in that game?
i have to admit, rob/emms present the greatest challenge to the incredible pair of zheng/bo (who have yet to lose a match together!!)
Wong Mew Choo has been impressive beating 2 chinese players so far to qualify for her first quarter finals appearance at the All England. Good work Mew Choo! Even though I only followed the livescore of kkk/tbh vs luluk and alvent last night, I have to say that kkk/tbh's win over the indons would probably have been a great match to watch since the first set was very close. Luluk and Alvent even held match point at one stage as I recall. Go kkk/tbh! Sustain your impressive form!
[KOR] Sang Hoon HAN [KOR] Yeon Seong YOO should also have a mention for impressive performance for defeating 3/4 seeds Kido and Setiawan
My vote goes to Wong Mew Choo also. And also she is the only WS player in the quarterfinal who is not a current or former player from China. So if she is going to win AE this year, she will have beaten 6 current or former Chinese WS players.
