Who is not a badminton addict among us (all BCer's)?

    .
Actually, most of us BCers are healthier than others because of the exercise we get from playing Badminton.

Sometimes we spend too much time at BC; that we forget to exercise. :D:D:D

Hahaha... You tell us which one you have spent more on. :):):)

For me, food is more important. Without food, I don't have the energy to play Badminton.

Do you have a lighter meal before Badminton?

    .
By the way, do you have a lighter meal before Badminton, and then have a bigger meal after? Or vice versa?

if i'm eating before playing i have 2 options... try and eat at least half an hour before playing or yes, eat a little less right before playing, then eating afterwards.

...but i admit, I always eat something after I play :p:D

Not as much as I'd like to think of because I play ping pong too aside from badminton. So, it kind of tug at each other.

I would say that I think about badminton once every hour. I have a weird obsession, I know. Whenever I see something that is even remotely like badminton, I begin to think about it. It's bad. One time I saw an ice cream cone and it reminded me of a birdie. I know I am weird :/

It is obvious, during Thomas cup and Uber cup everyone would be thinking about badminton at every minute of the day even those people who might thinking about badminton in their dreams.

The Poll Results after our first 619 votes

    .
So far the ranking hasn't changed (after 2 years, since my last update). :D:D:D

From the Poll Results after our first 619 votes, we have:

Only when I am at the Badminton court playing ... 10 ...... Rank 7
    Once a day .................................................... 51 ...... Rank 5
    Twice a day ................................................... 43 ...... Rank 6
    3 to 4 times a day ........................................... 85 ...... Rank 4
    5 to 10 times a day ........................................ 147 ...... Rank 2
Every hour of the day ...................................... 177...... Rank 1
Every minute of the day .................................. 106 ...... Rank 3

Now that we are arriving at the 2012 Thomas & Uber Cups (just weeks away), I am sure that 'Every minute of the day' would be catching up.

A bit confusing. If you don't think about badminton when you are not at Bad Central, how will you come to Bad Central. You have to have the thoughts of badminton first before you come here.

    Good Point. :D:D:D

Most BCers posting at BadmintonCentral must be thinking about Badminton. :):):)

However, we do have a 'Chit-Chat' sub-forum, where we talk about other things (at our 'Lounge').

Since most of us think about it every hour ... if one day we are really separated from the net or aint near our badminton equipment. I wonder how long one can last (for hard core badminton fan) lol.

I check on BC every day =X i wonder how long i will last haha

No sweat, with today technology ... smartphone with 3G will save my day lol :p! If oversea, thats another story, dont want to get all those extra charges! I hope this badminton enthusiasm in me will remain for years to come. Nice sport and can interact with many different ppl BUT there is one downside .. i must learn to control buying rackets on impulse ZZZ (too tempting after seeing all those new rackets )!
