Just wondering how long does it take for people with experience in stringing with a drop weight machine. on average it’s taking about 1 to 1 hour 15 mins for me.

40 to 45 mins on average. If I push very hard I strung a couple of rackets under 40 mins.

IME, the same stringer will take twice as long with a dropper as with a crank or electronic.

I once landed every pull perfect and did a 25min drop weight. Electronic doesn't save me a lot of time but I'm a slow weaver. Usually around 40 minute mark at a casual pace.

Thanks for all the input and sharing, I need to improve as it’s still taking a little more than an hour for me

Drop weight: 20-45 mins. 2 year experience
    Electronic: 20-30mins. 1 year experience

Big thing I noticed when upgrading to electronic is consistency. Not having to worry about re-pulling to achieve a horizontal drop bar saves a lot of time.

I have been lucky, I started working in a shop, but starting out on a crank machine my first racket was 2 hours and 45 minutes. Maybe my first year I got it down to 50 minutes. I would love to try a drop weight machine but I am too spoiled =)

    lets break it to parts:
    1) racket inspection, preparation, optional measurment - no difference
    2) racket mounting, prewave of mains - no defference
    3) string pullung, looks to me 2-3x faster with electronic
    4) clamping - no difference
    5) cross waving and knots - no difference
    6) unmounting, straighting crosses, optional remeasuring - no difference.

So pure from this list, the real difference shall be very little. However, electronic machines are high end and are better made in all other ways.
