Your welcome! That's how I have been wrapping my rackets where their original oem grip was removed. First layer of water proofing tape, followed by three to four layers of cushion wrap and then wrap the handle with ac102ex.

3-4 layers of cushion? I've only got 2 layers of overgrip on mine!

Lol, with 3-4 layers of cushion wrap, what's the point of removing the factory grip in the first place?

I generally prefer rackets with oem grip but most second hand rackets come without oem grip. Therefore, I have to improvise to get similar thickness and feeling.

3-4 layers of cushion wrap is lighter than the factory grip by 2-3gr. So if you combine it with overgrip, the total weight is just a tad heavier (probably 1 or 2 gr) than the factory grip.
The cushion wrap I used is from Mueller. I dont know if victor cushion wrap is lighter or heavier.
