But but but but.... he was ALMOST TOUCHING HER HAND FOR THREE MILLISECONDS! That's the biggest sexual outburst since Lin Dan french kissing Lee Chong Wei after the 2008 Olympics final. I wonder when the baby will arrive. Hope it will look more like LCW.

Are we debating if they are dating? I mean we will never know if we are right/wrong until they confirm or are with someone else publicly.

Watanabe has stated many times that they're not dating, both on his YouTube channel and on TV interviews. If i remembered correctly, he also said that it would be weird for their partnership if they're dating. The hug at the Olympics was on a spur of the moment. He did not realize that people would take it like that until it became a media subject.

Just reporting what he said when asked whether they're dating. People with the imagination, feel free to keep imagining. Don't let me ruin your fun :).

I know all information which you mention above.

But it was the story before All England 2022, who know what happened recently ?

I get it, we all like shipping our favourite people. Happens among live streamers as well (yes I know I'm a youngling). But that doesn't mean that you should keep trying to push a narrative where the involved person has stated that they aren't. Sure, things might have changed but we don't know that and we shouldn't dig deeper into it.

Still Nanoflare 700. Yonex recently released two new colours magenta and cyan, and she's using the magenta version.

I noticed that Higashino often looked at Watanabe as he was defending and she wasn't ready for the next shot from opponent.

When she did that thing, she was distracted.

I hope coach Jeremy Gan can know this thing.

    Another case happened today.

Higashino looked back "face to face" when the shuttle pass over her and Watanabe will hit the shuttle.

She should focus on her job instead of looking at Watanabe's face or the shuttle that come to Watanabe.

Clearly, It will take time when you look at the shuttle that was hit by opponent to Watanabe.

    Don't look, just glance.

Trust Watanabe, glance the shuttle and wait for your job (opponent will choose you to attack).

Imagine the path of the shuttle (when your opponent smash it) will go.

Draw it (the path) in your brain and ready to hit back.

So, after a tight 3 sets to beat Zheng/Huang in the Japan Open SF 3 days ago, they decide to inexplicably implode after change of ends at the beginning of the 3rd set final to the Thai pair by something like 1-9(!) after narrowly missing a match point in G2.

It doesn't look like any of them were injured, but just fatal mental lapses. With poor quality shots and many mistakes coming off Watanabe's racket, he would often put his partner in danger of attack. By the time they decided to smarten up, it was already too late to catch up.

Just goes to show how much of sports is mental and that the Japanese always seem to struggle with this in all their disciplines. It's too bad, hope they can recognize this issue and correct it.

This reminds of Lee Chong Wei versus Chen Long in 2016 Olympics. Lee Chong Wei wins a massive match against Lin Dan in the semifinals with huge emotional release but can’t raise his game high enough in the final.

Yuta and Arisa win an emotional semifinal against Zheng and Huang who they have been losing to for ages but can’t get past the final hurdle.

out of energy, that's why Watanabe make many errors in deciding game. Also happened to Dechapol, they were both tired.

they appeared a bit tired to me. missing a lot of shots you would normally make, especially in a 3rd game, when your opponents are not overpowering you is a sign of fatigue. all it takes is being a fraction late in reacting. the semi's took a lot out of them.

It was reported that it is due to Watanabe's poor physical condition/health. No mention of an injury.
