Hi,johnps Thank you. Yes, I 'll write here about my experience in Yonex Open Japan I come back to my house from Osaka. It takes 3 hours from my parent's house in Osaka to my house in Tokyo I need a good sleep for tomorrow
Hi, twobeer Do you decide a plan to come to Tokyo next time? I help you to find a club to play badminton. Ofcourse you can join our club There are many badminotn club in Tokyo. you can play it in almost clubs as a visitor. If you are lucky, there are some tounaments which you join Do you want to join? No, I don't, I stayed in Osaka (it's a second capital in Japan) for 3 weeks and come back to my house right now. But I'll go to see Yonex Open tomorrow By the way, what does it mean D.S.? If you have some time, please tell me the meaning. Miyuki
Hi, anatolii You've forgotten O.K. PM me when you find I'll give a update about Yonex Open Japan if I remember that I see the games. I know all game is wonderful, but I don't explain how wonderful their tecnics
Hi! My plan is to go next time sometime in may/june.. have not booked yet? Would have loved to go to this weekend, to watch the yonex open, but have to go work in Houston/Texas and do some serious golfing at Palm beach next week, so it didn't fit the schedule :-( The D.S. (actully it would be more correct with DS. ) stands for "The Same" (Densamma in Swedish), I'm not sure if this is used commonplace worldwide, but the history behind it is that if you write for example: Text text text Yours Sincerely, Torbjorn Jansson PS. Text text text.. You have not "signed" the text in the PS. only the main text.. so DS. is short for "the same", meaning the same signature used on the PS. as main (signed) text... So You write DS instead of signing it once more... Hope that explains it Yours Sincerely, Torbjorn Jansson
Hi, Mela Hajimemashite. Did you learn Japanese? I think you use Japanese in Business becouse your Japanese is polite. If you talk or learn more in Japanese , PM me in English or Japanese. I'll help you as possible Matane(^^)/
Konbanwa, Miyuki-san, (TRANS: Good evening, Miyuki-san) \(^^)/ I studied basic Japanese but I stopped my studies since I'm too busy with work. I also lived in Japan for 2 years (1998-2001) but that was the time when I was still not playing badminton. If I was already playing by that time I would've bought tons of badminton stuff in Japan. I haven't visited Japan for 4 years now. I miss Japan. Yes I do use Japanese mainly for bussiness as I'm employed by a multinational Japanese company that produces cameras, lenses, printers, photocopiers and some medical equipment. Oyasumi (TRANS: Goodnight)
Welcome Miyuki, It seems that all the Japanese girls that I have come across plays very decent badminton. I know of two Aki(s) that will probably outplay a lot of guys, me included. Enjoy your stay, keep posting and happy badminton. Bob
Hi, twobeer How was your business trip and a serious golf? By the way, did you decide to schedule about your coming to Japan? I know a man who comes from Sweden, so if you come to our club, I introduce him to you.
Hi, BTC2004 Thank you for your warm welcome. Your Japanese female friends are high level player, aren't you? Are they in Canada? I want to play with them. I want to play with high level player in usual training. I have played badmionton near my house for 2months, but I have no chance to play with high level female players. --Miyuki
Hi! Still Over here (just arrived to palm beach, from Texas). I have not booked any tickets yet.. I will look into that once I get back to Sweden.. Maybe I couls send you a PM when, I have scheduled! /Twobeer
Hi.twobeer I envy you I'll go to see chrre blossoms near my house with my son. I am waiting for your mail and looking forword to playing badminton with you , also drink beers as a Japanese style after it -Miyuki
Wow, I'm even more yeallous.. Cherryblossoms are REALLY beutiful.. And american beer isn't that nice Kirin and Asashi beats budweiser any day ;-) Cheers, T
Miyuki-san I'm sure twobeer will be delighted to join you and your husband to play badminton in your club, but you don't need to tempt him any further by offering beer after the game! As his name implies, he must be quite a beer drinker and don't be deluded into thinking that two (bottles of) beer is good enough for him! Mayby you should make him start by drinking many bottles of beer first before your game. Then your hope of beating him (in badminton) later in the court may be higher!
Come to Canada Miyuki and I will set up the games for you. My level of play is intermediate but we all just play because we do enjoy the game. I also noted that from your later post, beer drinking, we surely have lots in common. Happy Badminton!!
Miyuki, BTC2004-san's level is NOT intermediate. If that is true, then I'm a beginner I'll volunteer BTC2004 for babysitting while we play a game or two, ha-ha, I'll return the favor too! -dave
What Dave meant is that I am certainly NOT an intermediate BEER Drinker! Ha! Ha! We certaily look forward to you visiting us one day Miyuki and family.
