Let's leave China out of this since they won the Sudirman Cup last year and Japan as well for winning 2014 Thomas Cup.

But when the Thomas Cup victory parade from Copenhagen to Odense will take place, wouldn't the Koreans,Malaysians and Indonesians fans be in utter disbelief shaking their head? When will the ever-lasting drought come to an end? So much talk, hype and media scrutiny but nothing in ages to show for?

Isn't there a saying that Indonesians are born with a racket in their hand?

And the Koreans form their doubles partnership as soon as they are introduced to the world?

And when the Malyasians feel dominant, the opponents can say Bye-Bye ?

So much Talk but no walk ?

So what went wrong for so many years and still going in the same direction? When can we expect these 'powerhouses' to win these illustrious competitions again?

I am worried since China will continue to win Sudirman and Uber Cup for few decades. Only the Thomas Cup is the bright light at the end of the tunnel but still these nations are struggling to win it. The likes of Emile Holst are pouring cold water on their hopes. Sad state really.

Even there new winners in TC like Japan & Denmark, they just won it on evenness and not on excellence.

In fact, the badminton players' standard are on decline... for over 20 years, we still only have LCW & LD to be called superstars...

don't blame China for winning every thing again... They won so many titles not because they are really that invincible (although they did had some star players), but just because the rest of world really just talked more than walked.... just want to limit other team's progression rather than keep thinking and trying hard of how to really desired to improve themselves...

Do we really need this thread?

People who talk in this forum really have nothing to do with badminton organization within their own countries. We're not the mouthpiece of our respective countries.

I disagree with thread opener saying in Korea doubles pairs are especially stable. There are not more then in other places, and since three years we have seen many changes in their partnership.
Fox, find other reasons for their (relative) success!

Well, I really love Lin Dan had won it but Denmark winning it is good for the sport in general. Denmark has show what it's meant by playing as a team and strong mentally.
