I doubt Zhang/Gao need any rest. I don't think Yuli can fight off Gong anyway. They won't even need to play... If so, i think Bambang/Minarti will be able to take them out...... hopefully

Well, never underestimate the Olympic Champions

Besides Olympic champ, Zhang/Gao also won the most prestige open tournament, All England. Why everyone here treat them as the underdog?

BTW, they also have the longest winning streak among active mixed doubles.

I was only being hopeful that should Yuli beat Gong which is impossible now, that Bambang/Minarti would be able to beat Zhang/Gao......

Anyhow, all the credit to China for taking the Sudirman Cup again for the 4th consecutive year.

But what goes must come home. Indonesia will bring the Sudirman Cup home 1 day

    Quotable quotes:

    1) Darren Hall, after hendrawan serving for third set-" the longer

the game goes on the better for Hendrawan". Talk about out of

    touch!

    2) Zhao Jian Hua- Chen hong still limited in his skills and slow

to adapt, his only strength is that he is young"

Congratulations China! Amidst all the disappointment, sorrow, depression etc., I take comfort in the fact that my head is still safe, even though I really wouldn't have minded serving it to Ricky on a silver platter. =)

After today's match, my respect for Hendrawan has gone up by another thousand times. Kudos to Chen Hong too for playing a really good game.

  8. It's like a radio sport broadcast, many listeners (reader) but they don't call the radio station to tell them they are listening, unless you offering some prize.

Zhang/Gao is much less of a sure bet than Gong. IMHO.

but hey, no one cut off Gong's leg, nor did anyone do anything to Yuli....
