I’m looking for doubles racket Right now I’m using ldf 4u ( it’s good but I’m getting tired after 4-5 matches) also it’s bit slow in fast exchanges , flat drives Is going to even balance 3u will be better in terms of handling, better defence etc Or even balance 4u is good enough.?.? I’m not thinking of high end rackets as I don’t want stiff racket for doubles Mid flex easy to use , great power , good defence Looking for upper mid ranger or lower high end racket like arcsaber tour 3300 , 6600 etc Other brands are also welcome for suggestions Thank u
"it’s good but I’m getting tired after 4-5 matches" That's a fitness issue, not a racket issue. Pretty normal to feel fatigue after 4-5 serious matches.
Something like an apacs virtuoso performance 4u should suit you. Quite a fast frame, not too stiff and hopefully cheap in your region. Other options would be Adidas Spieler range or maybe mid range Victor rackets from Jetspeed or Auraspeed ranges. I cant comment on the those arcsaber rackets.
if you always used 4u head heavy one, give a try to any 3u (but real 3u at least 88-87g) and with BP of 290 at most, you could be very surprised how different it will play, it does not have to be very stiff, even racket will play stiffer since there is no wait on the head to bend it, but very stiff again will be tiresome (but if you have good pronation and supination power would be better than 4u hh)
Voltric 70 e tune is good I have used it It’s old model now and max tension is 24 only I string at 25 generally (ldf)
Yeah I’m thinking exactly same whether 3u even balance Mid flex racket is better than 4u head heavy stiff racket
Coming back to my question Is 3u even balance racket more user friendly than head heavy stiff racket ..??
Stiffness & tension is what most used for userfriendly parameter. Weight 3U/4U/5U is mix of preference & physical capability. Head light/heavy or balance is somewhat preference. In simple Head light is high manouver, low power Head heavy is low manouver, high power Balance is ok manouver, ok power. In the mid of everything. Excel in nothing & bad in nothing. So going from head heavy to balance you would expect lowered power abit but increase in manouver abit. Would you accept that? Only you can answer it. For more complicated Power stroke is a combination of alot of thing. Weight force + speed + shaft snap back + string repulsion. If you lose in one thing like weight but you are able to swing faster, it will result same powerfull stroke. But then again, what is offensive play style? A very strong smash that can makes a hole on the court with the help of head heavy racket? Or not a very powerfull shot but a sharp smash pointed at precision spot using a balance racket? So its come back to you if a balance racket will suit your feeling/style or not. 3U head heavy will give more swing weight to compensate the head weight loss, but it still feel different from 4U head heavy.
Thanks How about defence aspect..?? and is 3u even balance racket more tiring than 4u head heavy racket becz of extra weight ..??
cant say it to. I play double & currently my main weapon is TK770. 3U (close to 2U actually as last time i weight it with BG66UM + original grip + plastic + AC102 its 99gr), head heavy. Never had a problem for me or even tired myself for using it on a long match. But having a test drive with my friend head light racket or lighter (5U) racket exhaust me more. It force my muscle to swing harder/faster to compensate the weight loss. Even so, my friend really enjoy his light racket but really struggle if he use mine. If im a games character, maybe im a Gladiator Class rather than Ninja Class. Im more on muscle side rather than speed side. Best way is you try it for yourself to see if it fit you or not. Borrow friend racket for stroke exchange or if allowed for 1 or 2 round games.
