which inferno type should i opt for? ex? plus? having a 3u racquet sometimes slows me down but has more power. my experience with 99 is very good apart from string problems. cant find a good string for it. maybe i try a model which is suited for me then go for gravitas.

woh..seems like this gravitas series is getting more and more ppl using.
would like to find out which model is the closest to balance / swing fast? (base on those who owned the racket, as not too believe at website spec)
just saw it mentioned concept - ryoga. (does that referring to the ryoga series?)
    thanks guys.

Can you guys help me decide on a new racket, please? I'm looking for speed and control. The Gungnir Beta seems perfect because it's extra stiff and it has an aero frame and it's head balanced. I don't know about Gravitas but from what I've read it has a smaller frame that adds to it's speed but that's all I know. Inferno's frame is also fast based on what I've read but I haven't tested any of those. Thank you for your time.

I would categorize Beta as medium-stuff racket, feels stiff when you bend but feels flexible when you hit. It's fast and has a loud whip sound when you smash. The extra racket length is also noticeable and provides extra power. I have tried a lot of rackets ranging from ZF2, V80E, AVP, JS10 a more, but the Beta is just fits all the boxes for me.

Although the Inferno looks cool, it's just not a very good racket imo, its just average at everything and doesn't excel at anything. I haven't tried the Gravitas series so can't comment on those.

Thank you for your insight, sir. I didn't know Infernos where just so-so. I hope someone can compare Gravitas and Gungnir in terms of their speed and control too.

but they increased prices for the most rackets like 30-40 percent, so real discount is much much smaller, quite shitty marketing I would say....

@visor, I can't get discount on yonex string. the price for bg66um is 64gbp after putting the string20 code it doesn't go lower. But for the solingo hyper g, 91 to 74 which is nice. Customer is gonna like :)

which code did you put for the badminton string to get a promotion?

edit: I found the code yon20 to get 20% yonex string

I didn't buy the racket, very tempting, but I snatched on solingo hyper-g and yonex nanogy 98, 73 and 56 gbp respectively, how cheap is that :)

actually this racket was not expensive even without discount, but it is not about the final amount, increasing prices and giving after that '50' percent is very lame, actually it is nothing more as false advertising, and it should be even punishable practice

Just got a inferno plus from a friend. What's your overall thoughts of the racket?
Also, what's the closest thing to this racket from Yonex and Victor to have an overview

The frame is as thin as the nanoflare 800, so I gotta be careful while retrieving smash

If you could test it out. I would like to know the results from a first experience view.

I am tempting to get the 9.0 sx cl or inferno plus. But I'm still looking on lining calibar 900b or aeronaut 9000c.

I believe the gravitas series is most similar to Victor high end series. As they used the same pyrofil material.

    Hey people,
I read that gravitas 8 got small head, but I am more interested in gravitas 7 if it has small head too. Does anyone know whether gravitas 7 has smaller head as well?

    Thanks in advance

yes both 8 and 7 have the same head size (6 has normal one) which is even smaller than zfII or z-strike, so really minuscule - usable only in doubles (it was too complicated for me to use in singles and mixed)
