Exactly. The pics I've seen so far made my jaw drop to the floor.

    Great Racket!
Very slim, fast frame. Easy to use. Very player friendly.
Had some nice rallys with it. Great in defense and surprisingly a lot of nice smashes.
Great looking frame and the leather grip is fine too. Never experienced a leather grip before. Really slippy in dry swing. Gets its tackiness within 3 minutes of playing. Nice.
Just ordered a couple of leather grips via Stringersworld.

I have to say, the decision for the next gosen visually was rather easy given i've owned two rackets that look exactly like the Roots (DZS and Z Ziggler with paint removed) albeit without the gavun shaft. Must have taken out the wow factor for me.

Especially since if you chip away at the outermost layer of paint on the customedges slowly and carefully, you can see a beautiful carbon fibre weave underneath which looks rather impressive.

Edit: I know some have said that Li-Ning's feel "right" when you swing them, I think I get that with Gosen. My immediate reaction to the type k was "woah so light and effortless" and then I couldn't believe it when the weight on scale was 90gm (stock grip wrapper and unstrung).

Hi! Was wondering if some Gosen fans here know the Gosen Gavun Roots 2200TI. What model range is it? Max tension? Specs like is it stiff or flex shaft? Is it a mid range or high end model? Head heavy, even or light?

Also wondering if the colors have any difference as I saw a red black and a blue black models with the same 2200Ti in it.

    Thanks!

Anyone here have Gosen's 1 piece 72 hole stringing pattern? I only saw the 76 hole and 80 hole on their website.

CUSTOMEDGE Version 3.0 ? Type-O with octagonal shaft really interesting. Just below Alpha on matrix. Type-V successor?

To those who have used a gungnir alpha, does the inferno ex have a similar feel to it?

I have this demo in my hands, I will attempt a review on it.

But recently I noticed at Stringers World that they have knocked some of the racket prices down

I promissed myself not to buy new one untill I will win 1st place in singles, as it happened, so I got Gravitas 8.0sx,
it should be very fun racket - stiff with smaller head than js10(thus faster) and head heavy,
but since its head is really squarish do hope that sweet spot will be still ok and lets see how gosen holding/ejecting system works :)
oh and always wanted to try Gosen.

ps. Chris Langridge is endorsing Gravitas series and was using 8.0sx one in Sudirman cup

    I just got Gravitas 8.0 :)

I will write a more detail review once I have more time, but I think it is a great racket with reasonable price. Exceptional accuracy and speed while having decent power from the rear court. The feel is quite similar to Zforce 2 but much more accurate and lower power. Victor Bxr should have somewhat similar feel as well.

From primarily using Ax88D and 99, Gravitas 8.0 is a power sacrifice for speed and accuracy. Many time I am surprised by how precise this racket made my shots. Net shots are great as well, however, somehow I feel 99 and 88 has higher ceiling for netshot quality. I actually regard 88D as a very good racket for accuracy, when I make a clear or lift or flick, I can guarantee good length, but for the landing location, it may only be roughly estimated. However, when using Gravitas 8.0, many times the shuttle pinpoint on the line or corner just as how I aim it. Many times, I was thinking how the hell did I make these shots! Sounds exaggerated, I know. However, I believe the shaft design of Gravitas helps a lot too.
However, if you are tall and have very strong arm, maybe this isn't the racket for you because it is only available in 4u configuration, so your smashes may get less satisfying. Also, Ax88D and 99 rotational 2 kick point system is more effective the faster the swing you able to muscle.
