Tad has the same stringing service. You can request to have your racquet strung with the Babolat Electronic Stringing Machine.
Really? I remember cappy went there but Tad says the electonic stringing machines are for tennis only. Maybe I'll drop by or give them a call to find out. -dave

Cheapest place to buy in Vancouver? Hey all, i've been reading this page for the past 2 hours and was wondering what's the cheapest place to get racquets in Vancouver B.C. The one place i know is Tad's and they're quite reasonable (but freaking far from where i live in surrey), does anyone know of any other places where racquets are sold at a good price? Cheers
equipment in vancouver i just moved to vancouver. can anyone give me some adresses of stores to buy yonex material. i need some raquets of the muscle power series (mp 99) and the armor tec series. thank you..
Hey Schubert, Welcome to BF and Vancouver! As for baddy stores in VAN, there's Tad's along Granville and 70th Ave. Racquets and Runners as well as Abbies carry high-end Yonex racquets and accessories. You could search the forum for the other two stores' address or look it up in the phonebook. Happy Hunting!

MP99 and armortech A friend of mine has 1 MP99 CHN 3U that he is looking to sell, as well as 1 armortech 500 CHN 4U as well. Not sure of price he wants, but I know it will be much cheaper than new. He has only used both racquets minimally in singles play. PM me if you are interested and I will give you his email address.
Vancouver can any vancouver bfers recommend me a place in vancouver where they sell badminton equipments, videos, and have stringers to string my rackets?
Where in Vancouver have the cheapest sting service? i have only been to clearone.. n their service is $12 for own string.. n $21 for bg 65 ti... is this cheap or reasonable price?
Hi! You can contact with XXXX who lives near Orkridge Mall, call him before you go. He is well-experienced and charge reasonable, $8 for labour by your own string and $15 for BG65, $20 for other special strings (BG80. BG85. BG68TI......). Many Vancouver's baddies are his clients and he sells rackets, too. Of course much cheaper than shops. PHONE NUMBER: XXXXXXXXXX btw have a nice day! If you want to know what is the "X" just PM me.
Sigh* Im starting to get really Annoyed and Dissapointed by how abbies are stringing Racquets...... My friend had his racquets strung with BG-80 on 23lbs on his MP88(old)... when he got it back... it didn't really feel like 23lbs.. and it boke within 2 weeks...and he only played for less then 6 hours... and we have a tournament next week... now i'm telling him not to string at abbies anymore, cuz the quility in their recent work have really been lacking... now personally i think Sportschek at Station square does a better job. my 2 cents ps: do you guys think that my friend can ask abbies for a refund or some sort of thing as an apology
Well you could try, but I doubt it. It helps if you go to the shop immediately after the strings broke, but also depends if they broke in the middle (sweet spot) or around the edges, which would mean they broke because of a miss-hit. You could argue about breaking in the sweet spot so soon after it was strung but if it broke from a miss-hit, it's most likely his own fault. Generally, unless the strings were broken very soon after it was strung, stores won't give you anything because it can be argued that a lot could have happened to the racquet with the more time elapsed after the stringing. At least you know you don't like Abbies anymore and can seek a new stringing service. I've broken strings 5 HITS after receiving my racquet from a stringer, and all I got was a sympathetic smile .
Heh! Believe me, Abbie's has quite the repute for badminton stringing job. Wood_22_Chuck (AKA Dave) can bear testament to their 'quality' of work.
