Hi, how important is the grip size for you? Maybe i am a little bit too sensitive in this topic, but i need all my rackets with the same grip size (g5), otherwise i get the feeling that the racket is not fitting well in my hand (could be psychological though).
So, is grip size that important for you as well? Or is the weight class the only number u are looking for and the grip does not matter at all? I wanted to buy the arcsaber 11 pro in 3u g5 here in germany but unfortunatly they are only offering the 3ug4 versions. a huge problem for me.....

If the grip is too small buy cushion wrap, use it before overgrip

    grip size is important.

if you like g5, you can take a g4 and strip off the factory grip and reapply overgrip of your liking.

or, you can buy from a reputable online/overseas seller that offers the g5 you're looking for.

Or you could sand down the G4 to G5. I already sand down from 5 to 6.

Grip size is critical for proper finger power and quick grip changes.

    grip size is important.

I must have G5 with original grip + 1 overgrip. OR if I have a G4 racket, I strip the original grip, use cushion wrap to make it close to a G5 + 1 overgrip.

I much prefer G5, take off original. Then one thin wrap. Then cushion wrap.

I am very fussy about grip size.

Can only get G5 mostly here so overgrip over wood with 50/50 cut off access when near the bottom of cone.

G6 tried a few times from JP coded rackets, a bit too small with the whole overgrip but feels good with the original grip.

    G4 yuck

In my 10+ years of playing i've gone through many racquets. I was convinced I needed a larger grip for better smashes, so I played with a G3 nanospeed9900 for a few months. I found out it was too big for me to change grip effectively and went back to G4 sizes.

Recently I have been getting used to a G3 racquet and going back to G4s, I do notice a difference in how easy or hard it is for me to swap from forehand to a backhand grip quickly.

TLDR, weight matters, grip size matters, buy small and plump it up if needed.
