Chris is gonna be gunning for you, now you've kinda pushed him out of his full-time job.... :p

Ma Jin's going for the double-double again.
That makes it a double-double-double in 2 weeks! :p (beginning to sound like a turkey)
Timmy's should give her honoured customer status in Canada... :D

Daren has the capacity to speed up his match during the rubber games.. I have seen this yesterday, as he was playing normal game till two games and pushed his strength to extreme.. in the rubber though i watched him struggling for back pain.. Oh man.. How come such a power arises from a thin guy.. But if you play against a guy who is very tall, normal to every guy to predict the power arises from the smashes of heighter person that happened against Wang zhenming and kenichi tago.. Both went for 3 game match .. Lets see how it goes..

Saina vs mitani, well .. would be a tough match.. Mitani is a rally player.. Saina is good in fitness nowadays.. Lets hope she will have that energy to cope up with the long rallies.. I have to mention here.. Mitani gives a sound whenever she gains a point which is very sweet... hee hee..

Liew Daren had played 2 rubber games this tournament, and has issues with his gas tank all the time. Viktor Axelsen to beat Daren in 2 easy games.

I hope Daren wins, but it will be tough against an in-form Viktor (who won against Wang ZM & Tago).
JOJ was in-form too (Denmark Open runner-up and beat PG in QF here) but when DL up his pace in 2nd & 3rd game, DL was incredible.
    I think its 51 - 49 (Viktor - Daren) for Viktor victory. :)

As for Saina, I think she is too strong for Mitani.
The way Saina demolish Juliane . . . its unbelievable.
As for Mitani victory against Eriko, I think the 2nd game was "staged". 1st game 21-19 which Mitani won was the decider, and the 2nd game 21-10 was just a "formality".
Just my thought because Eriko is a fighter. Just look at the recent Japan Open score-line below:-

Axelsen the Dane does stand to gain,
But he stands so tall my neck does pain!
I look and wonder as he stoops down anew
To conquer the challenge from Daren Liew.

O Viktor, O Viktor, in the amphitheatre,
    This rhyme's about to go askew;
Quick! get some tips from Peter-pater
Afore ye fall in lieu of Liew!

I agree with your opinion that Ma Jin very highly will do a double-double again. She is a more consistent player as compared to the recent patchy form of ZYL.

Hopefully there is no "Team Order from . . . to MJ" in the Final. Just let the players show their true potential, and the spectators to enjoy another entertaining China vs China match. :)

Both Tago & WZM play style suit to Viktor as their game plan is predictable to Viktor. But agianst DL , Viktor will has hard time to predict where the shuttle will go (just like JOJ last night) so he will not be able to execute his smashes ... The net play will determine today winner....

MD . . . hmmm, the Thai pair is very explosive.
I am surprise with Ko/Lee exploit here in France. They beat KKK/TBH in a very tight game, then follow up by beating Kim/Kim (another explosive pair) in SF. Ko game seems to have steadied (less errors) here, but how will Ko hold up for the final???

Daren Liew surprised me again and again (especially beating Sasaki and JOJ) in the tournament. From what I observed, he seems to have improved his stamina. Looking at the 3-game matches that he won, losing the 1st game narrowly but winnng the last 2 also proved he has matured and steadied himself.

Daren is already 25 and I hope he can win.

After Liew Daren upset S Sasaki in the QF match I said it would be difficult for him to beat JOJ in the SF match but win he did.
LD was just stunning and he played like the master, LCW, smashing winners after winners and retrieving difficult nets and smashes from JOJ that it frustrated the latter. He just did not expect LD to play the way he did and to be fair to JOJ, he played well in the tournament.
Hopefully, LD plays well against another Dane, VA, in the final and lands his first SS title.
