This is a new video from coach Lee (which I believe a lot of people have watched his videos on youtube before)

HIs get-ready position for forehand clear is different from what I am doing (I'm turning sideway almost 90 degree like what he suggests we should not do). Is this right? Or both ways are okay?

(He talks slow. You can watch at 1.5x speed for the first two minutes or so)

If you currently hit well with your current positioning, don't change it. If you struggle to hit the shuttle well, then give what LJB says a try, and use the one that is easiest for you. Neither is wrong, as long as it doesn't impact your shots. Some professionals stay front on (like LJB) and some turn 90 degrees or more.
