I always love to see it decided in the final game. No point watching when the winner clinch it 10 games ahead.
I remember a similar season when any of the bottom five could escape relegation - was exciting viewing that. Meanwhile, don't know whether to post this here or in the NBA thread...
Dutch league will be decided on the last day in a straight head-to-head between Ajax and FC Twente . In between there's the Cup Final between the same teams ... Twente being the league leaders and can clinch with a draw. Time for that 3rd star on the jersey next season !
I'll root for FC Twente, reason being I was so tired of seeing Ajax, Feyenoord and PSV Einhoven year in and year out. Much like the Serie A, AC Milan & Juventus; now, Internationale is getting there consistently these days. Same in the Bundesliga and La Liga. Especially EPL's Man U. Liverpool, yay (cheering for next year)! ...go go goals for Chelsea!
Arsenal 125 year anniversary (away is horrible ) & more news: http://soccerlens.com/shirts/ Have to hurry up and get the current Ajax away and have it printed . Before they have replaced it completely with the new shirts and fonts (at which time they destroy the old ones or so i've been told on previous occasions)
*omg* Liverpool will be outfitted by Warrior Sports(???) instead of Adidas from '12-'13. Apparently they own New Balance as one of their brands. Didn't like any of the Reebok ones so let's see what dreadfullness will come out of this $$$ deal . The US connection strike 1 ...

I think many wish we could get tired of Liverpool winning prizes . As for Inter they are the most succesfull Italian club over the last 80 years and apart from prizes I can't remember them finishing lowww (too bad napoli has all but dropped out of the race). Inter was just like Chelsea, buy buy buy buy buy and buy some more. Only the last few years have they had a reasonably consistent squad since the owner has finally kept his hand on his wallet Have no problems with Twente winning but in a straight head-to-head decider I guess they'll just have to step aside . Then again the current Ajax board is about to piz off finally so getting a title now under their reign is perhaps not that desirable if the next couple of years don't deliver another ... (under Cruyff & Co. such as Bergkamp) They've had to resort to cradle robbing of their own these days with the likes of Eriksen (Danish talent of the year and world cup squad member and regular on the national team now at 18/19yo). Recently recruited/signed another 16yo Dane to their youth squad
The fact is, I was rooting for Inter all the while when AC was collecting their haul of silverwares. Bergkamp, oh please! He can't ran it...I don't even think he was that good in his heyday, I mean he is good but not great. Now, running a club? He can't even do the proper SLIDING technique that van Basten, Gullit and Rijkaard executed as if it were a parlour game.
That would be possible if Man U drops points in their only games left. A bit on the wild side. It's Man U's to lose now but I'm sure the pressure is on Chelsea and Arsenal to perform as well. So, the trio are all nervous right now. The one with the most poise and confidence will win it!
