Denmark had surprisingly much problems with England, especially from Gail Emms in both doubles. So not an easy round despite of the final score. Let's hope they can improve before they get China/Korea/Indonesia for opponents.

Korea looked strong against Sweden, the Swedish were no match for them. It was nice to see Ra Kyung Min back on court. Apart from one or two unforced errors, her netplay was as sharp as ever...

Netherlands, Hong Kong, Malaysia Japan won in group 2 and can now start fighting for promotion...

    Regards from Eindhoven!!

The live score board of the official web sit isn’t working. Where can we find the scores of each match?

    Danish Lineup

Yes, I'm interested as well to see if any of the Rasmussen family are going to play.
I asked Peter Gade about this yesterday but he couldn't tell me, it is the coaches' decision and it is not announced until the day of the play!

He said he is feeling good on court, and played well on his first match although he is not 100% in the shape and form he can be in. He said: "the real tournament for us starts at the semi finals, then we have to be at our best.". "China is clearly the favorite for the tournament, that puts us in an outsider role. This is an advantage for us, China is the team to beat and they have to be good at every single match, because other wise the other teams can beat them.".

    Cheers from the Sudirman Cup,

    - Mark.

I know, I just mean 'family' as in a matter of speaking.
Afterall, we are just one big badminton family ;-)

Yes, Peter Rasmussen is part of the team, I saw him and also check
    http://www.toernooi.nl/sport/player.asp?id=3221&player=323 !
So let's wait and see if he will play...

    Regards, Mark.

    Live Scores

The live scoring system is coming through okay now - Colin Haughton (UK) just lost his singles against Hidayat (Indonesia).

It is 1-1 in the team scoring. Julia Mann is now playing the singles.

In group 1, Sweden will be playing against England to see which team gets demoted. Thailand is smart to opt out. Will Thailand stay in group 1 in the next Sudirman?

Where are the scores of the individual matches posted? I can find which country won but not the individual matches.

Go to the main matches menu and click on the individual country and then click on that country icon again to find individual match scores.
Here is the main matches page for today.

Well, tomorrow's match betwen China and Korea could possibly signal who would win in the finals if they do meet? Also, looking at the Indonesian play today, it looks like Denmark would have the upper hand tomorrow. It could possibly be China vs. Indonesia and Denmark vs. Korea semi-final matchups
