I have been following this board and other badminton boards for a while, and am amased on a lot of fine points of badminton which I was not aware of.

For example, the criteria for selecting a racket is something I am new to. I normally just pick up a racket and see how I feel about it. If the shuttle flies fast enaough, then I am happy with the racket.

Recently, I hear people talked about how "balanced" a racket is, and how a racket generates a lot of vibration etc.

It would be nice to hear from the expert out here who can share with us a systematic way of evaluating a racket.

My questions are: how to determine if a racket is balanced, flexible/stiff ... etc.
