Rian need to work harder, it's ridiculous the number of mistakes that he made against kamura/sonoda in the sf...and most of them are really unforced errors. he also need to practice his serve more. Skill wise they're already one of the best, but it doesn't matter if they (especially rian) keep making easy mistakes that cost them the game. how far this partnership go will depend on rian, hopefully they could reach their full potential next year.
Congrats fajar/rian for winning syed modi international super 300, their second title this year. Hope to see more consistent performance from them next year, skill wise they are already top 2/3 imo.

Yeah, I agree with you very much. Anthony, Jojo, and Fajar/Rian has improved very well this year. Together with minions, they can score points for INA.
Hopefully it would be like earlier 2000s all over again, where indonesia have 2 or 3 really great MD. I want to see indonesian MD won the olympics/world championship again, not named hendra setiawan this time..
Fajar has become one of my favorite player now, he has such amazing awareness on court, very similar to hendra. both fajar and rian are so good when it comes to placement, either in their drive or soft shots. I really like rian backhand drive (especially when he's going crosscourt), its just beautiful to watch (and really effective too).
