Fact About Asian Games Medalist

1. China never cleaned sweep all gold medal in Asian Games.
Best achievement is in 1990, when China was also host. China took 6 gold medal, and rest XD for Korea
Even, 1994 & 2002, Korea was winner in accumulative gold medal obtained.
In 1994, China just took 7 bronzes.
So that, is it interesting to wait whether China can do for it first time (as many predictions in neighboring thread).
I think that China team in 2002 and 2006 was also invincible, but it is stoppable in the fact.

2. China, Korea, Indonesia, Malaysia, Japan, Hongkong, and Thailand are only countries had gotten medals in badminton AG.
Will India and Taipei get their first medal in badminton this year?

3. Since AG 1974, Malaysia only get 1 gold medal in 2006 (MD - Koo Kien Kieat/Tan Boon Heong).
Will Chong Wei and/or KKK/TBH redo again for MAS this year?

4. Korea dominates XD 1986-2002 (5 times AG) and just stopped by China in 2006.
I think also for this year, Korea will not have good possibility for XD, as they do not play LYD/LHJ
Only XD player from AG2006 who will play in AG2010 are just two Thailand XD. Others are new pair playing in AG.

5. The scenario for Men team drawing seems nearly the same with AG 2006
In 2006 semifinal, CHN vs INA = 3-1 and KOR vs MAS = 3-1

INA won 1st MD: (if I am not wrong Kido/Setiawan beat Cai Yun / Fu Haifeng in team semifinal)
it is important to know, that in 2010 CHN and INA will have mostly similar player for MS1, MS2, MS3 (For Indonesia, just swap position Sony and Simon. For CHN, they had Bao Chunlai), and MD 1

MAS won 2nd MS: I do not really remember who played.

Final: CHN vs KOR = 3-2.
KOR took MS1 and MD2
