    thanks Bbn for the pictures!

Chinese report has it that each member of the Dutch Uber Cup team gets a car worth 20,000 Euro as a reward for entering the semi-final, in which they achieved by beating South Africa today. congratulations!

I thought their match today was a match to enter the quarter finals?

Where they will play Denmark tomorrow. Had Mia been playing they would have good chance of beating denmark (they still have even chance).

But do they recieve the cars for reaching quarter finals, or only if they reach the semis?

Do you all mean cars for the dutch team? Well I haven't heard anything about that so I doubt it very much. Especially considering it's the dutch federation. Perhaps they meant the support from the olympic comitee to topathletes which includes a car for the top-athletes for the duration of the support.

I can never understand most people,

there is a member here who sells up to date DVDs dirt cheap,

why waste time and money uploading and downloading files when you can

buy a DVd with high resolution dirt cheap?I think it costs more to upload/download,

unless one is a student ie, then I can understand.

Heh! I think most of our members are students or people with highspeed broadband access. No point buying DVDs when you're already paying for broadband... might as well use it:D.

Right, I see but i dont have broadband.

Reaso why I mention this is if everyone waits fr freebies

even if they can afford it, then very soon the person trying to sell a few videos might go bust and pretty soon there will be no videos to download.

I emphasise the word dirt cheap, I can many of you cant understand the

difficulty and costs in producing DVDS, I myself wouldnt do it. And its not as if its Eg. Warner or Microsoft" ripping people" off

And I have no vested interest in production of DVDs, I am also buying them.

I 'm not trying to be a smart ass or arse as what most people imply, just trying to open minds.

    Student too here ...
Fr33bies or not, people in the mma community post events litteraly hours after the live ppv for fr33 in newsgroups, which by the way would be a good way to distribute videos here for example in a group called "alt.binaries.multimedia.sports". So us deprived of any tv coverage here can watch matches almost immediately instead of waiting for the tournament to finish.
Besides, eventhough I agree that Han's dvds are cheap, I have little interest in half of the matches on some of them (WS & XD), doesn't mean I will never buy any of his dvd's.

 and why r u so behind the ones profiting from the fact that we can't see any matches (yeah, yeah:supply&demand ;) ) ? %%% :p

Har har this must be a cruel joke... it must have been 'as a reward for beating China' as they know it never happens..

Anyway I'll ask the Dutch players about this rumor.

Wonder if Eva would like to give a short report of her experiences.

She went to China last time without actually playing. This time she gets on court....

    From Eva

For all the fans of Eva:

A few quotes from Eva today (translated from Dutch):

    "It's...........ssssssssssssssssssuuuuuuuuuuuuupppper cool here !!!"

"Only too bad we didn't reach the semi-finals"

"There was a small chance for me play doubles against Indonesia, but Karina played instead"

"It is 30 degrees here. I've been training a lot here and it's very hot inside the training hall"

"It was great to play, although we had little to bring in against the Chinese.

    Grtz., - Mark.
