seems like you're still as chauvinistic... :p:p:p

I think Joppien is the favourite against Kaldau, the other Danes should get through.

If DICKY VS KALDAU or BORSEN, I think he can be in semi-final.
Even this, I think he has 40% chance to beat Jonassen.

Dicky Palyama used 3 sets and 79 minutes to beat Per-Henrik Croona from Sweden yesterday, likewise Björn Joppien also had to use 3 sets and 71 minutes to beat Kasperi Salo from Finland.

I don't think it's likely to become easier for them today

Björn has got the best chance of the four non-Danes... I think he will lose though ;)

The WS top 16's match is very interesting. Yao Jie, Pi Honyan, Xu Huaiwen all lost the fist game, even Xu Huaiwen got a zero
but they all resume in the last two games. :D
Mia also lost the sencond game to Petya.
Among the potential champion Only Martin has a good performance.

Damn! That'll teach me not to make predictions about the future ;)

Prediction is very difficult, especially about the future.

imo mia audina will destroy camilla martin
there is also the probability that audina/bruil might beat jorgensen/olsen
their head to head is 2-1
same thing with robertson/emms vs rasmussen/olsen

I presume You are saying that in reference to the fact tha park tae sang may qualify in front of him (Boessen)in the olympics if he doesnt beat gade?

Ordinarily I dont think he has a chance, but you never know. It would be harsh on Park. Hopefully they both get through to qualify!

I have made some rough calculations. If both Park and Boesen enter the final, both go though on the expense of Lee CW. If not, then if both Park and Boesen lose on the same stage (semi-final), Park go through with Lee. If Park loses in the quarters (unlikely), Boesen is through.

But that's just keeping it simple. Let's not forget there's a Taufik somewhere in the 20s. If he wins the tournament, he still cannot catch Lee CW but he can upstage both Park and Boesen if they both slip up.

Given that Archer/kellog are ranked 17th today, and are only 40 points behind The taiwanese pair, and they got at least one stage further in their respective tournaments, (Archer/kellog QF, TAI ???, but not qf) does that mean in next weeks rankings, before the 30th april deadline, that they will move to 16, and therefore qualify for OG?

    Gade vs. Boesen

Well this is not a very good match. I had hoped that Park Tae Sang, lost at ABC, but he didnt and therefore Boesen has to beat Gade, I still hope that Gade wins, because if Boesen should get to the olympics he hasnt got any chance, and Gade is my favourite player, and has always been.

My guess : Gade beats Boesen, and Jonassen beats Joppien.

    Final: Gade beats Jonassen

I think ARCHER Simon/ KELLOGG Donna still have a chance to top 16 ranking although they lost in the quater-finals.
TSAI Chia-Hsin/ CHENG Wen-Hsing now is 16, NUGROHO Anggun (INA) / 10361 - WIDIOWATI Eny now is 15, but they all stop at the second round in ABC.So, next week ARCHER/ KELLOGG could exceed them. But DENNEY Travis/ WILSON-SMITH Kate maybe exceed ARCHER/ KELLOGG if they can get into the OBC final.
