Apparently Tse Ying Suet has tested positive for covid and therefore withdrawn from mixed doubles event.

Meanwhile, Hong Kong's badminton team ran into some bad luck at the Indonesia Open after Tse Ying-suet tested positive for Covid-19. Tse and her partner Jordan Tang Chun-man were subsequently forced to withdraw from the mixed doubles event.“

The broad excitement continues this week with more enthralling showcase than just concluded Indonesia Masters 2022, containing ensemble cast, adding Japan A-listers and women's singles prominent names Tai Tzu Ying, Carolina Marin.

Defending champion Axelsen will take on Tsuneyama, a resilient opponent who can't be underestimated, barring any big deviation, he's slated to meet home fave Anthony Ginting in last eight after last week semifinal. Second quarter of draw should offering high appealing and potential clashes between Loh KY and Lee ZJ.

Second seed Kento Momota who's experiencing lowest point of his career has some Indian players on his semifinal trajectory. Most noteworthy opening match will pay attention to Thai prodigy Vitidsarn against the rejuvenated veteran Chou TC.

Sindhu lost making so many unforced errors today. No control and No quality in shot making and succumbed to her opponent in Straight games

It is unfair for both these players, it is World number 7 against world number 9 in the first round. These draws should be changed. First 16 players should match up against second 16.

Goh Soon Huat is really not fit, he collapses after each rally. What happened?

The cheapest of cheap wins…this Idiot umpire doesn’t know how to issue a card after 10x undue delay.

Are players too clueless to appeal to the tournament referee? Unbelievable.

Good reason like “he forgot to read the badminton rule book before becoming an umpire”? Give me a break.

You’re just insulting yourself by your lack of awareness of said rule book. This isn’t a charity event, it’s an international sporting event. 10x undue delay should result in cards, points, and the match if unheeded.

What an extraordinary performance of Goh,
keep fighting until he can no longer stand, against opponents as well as his very weak physical conditions.
Lai, his partner is also amazing at motivating and covering areas.
    I hope Goh recovers soon.
IM and IO don't seem friendly this time for bass/popor

At least Sindhu looked disappointed after the loss; might mean she's not just playing as a formality.
But a bit rude for her to not even acknowledge the opponents win. I know her off court demeanor is quite different.

What a great sportsmanship shown by a Thai XD pair at the end of match. They're true champions.

The Thai XD pair showed more respect and humility than some people talking here.
