Early Bird sales for OUE Singapore Open 2015 has started

The good news is you can expect Lin Dan's participation this year in his bid to get into the world's top 3 or even WR1 as early as possible by the next Olympic cycle. As it is, he's slated to play at the All England PSS, is reported to have registered for the IND Open SS and expected to compete at the following Maybank MAS PSS and the OUE SIN Open SS as well. Hope to see it come true, I believe so. In fact, this Chinese article argues there are credible reasons for him to do so http://sports.sina.com.cn/o/2015-02-26/10117525418.shtml

In fact after the injury-plagued last half year which derailed his plan to rise in world ranking quickly, he's said he is determined to make up for lost ground from the beginning of this year and even try to regain the WR1 position. So there's good reason to expect a busy and active year for Lin Dan in preparation for his Rio Olympic quest.

I try to buy a seat and it seems like the seat is selected by the system.
Is the seat chosen good for viewing, especially when it comes to the later stages where only 1-2 matches are played simultaneously on the court nearer the audience entrance.

What seat did u get? All e seats in 111 and 112 are good. Simply change seat if the match u want to see is on C3 or C4. The ushers are not tt particular in the first few days of the tournament

I was given this seat when using safari to buy ticket.
level 2, section 221, row 13, seat 9

I'd try again at home using computer to see if i can choose my preferred seat.

Anyone has a layout of the indoor stadium? hehe

I believe seats at block 211 are sold out. If you try to select seats at 211, the system does not automatically allocate you a seat nearest to 211. I was allocated a seat at 221 which is at the sides and rejected it. Suggest you try 210 or 212 where seats are currently available.

I would expect a more intelligent booking system from Sportshub. How do they justify their S$7.50 booking fee?

agree, 221 is not a good place at all, yet the system treat it as the best seat available.

if the matches are played in a layout similar to last year, then all 4 courts are used in the earlier rounds, but only c2 and c3 for quarter and semi finals. final should be at c2.

i just went to indoor stadium to buy ticket and got a seat at 212 but last row. a bit high but ok to watch the action at c1-3. doubt the stadium will be full, as i might move to watch c4 depending on the draw.

I didn't watch SG open for the past 1-2 years, and thought of buying season tix for this year SO. And shock seeing the booking fee is $7.50 (plus if pick up the ticket @ venue additional $1.5). Last time under SISTIC, booking and handling fee is $3. So now under sportshub total would be $9 (unless if i print out the ticket at home which end up total "only" $7.50 instead $9 :p)

What is this? daylight robbery by sportshub?

I got mine from the box office at the Singapore Indoor Stadium, the booking fee is $7.50. There is no additional charge of $1.50.

The downside is you'll have to make a trip down to the Indoor stadium but there is CC line so it is still accessible.

I bought the early bird season ticket for senior citizens at a concessionary $18 but the booking fee came to $7.50, a hefty 41% more!

And I have to do most of the work myself like phoning up to place the order and having to print the tickets myself.

I'm sure even the students will have to pay the similar ridiculous amount as I did.

What concession!!!

Hi BC members, I will be attending the S'Pore open and would like to meet up with other members after the games will anyone be interested.
