Hi,
more important (at least for me):
Marc ZWIEBLER - Dicky PALYAMA 15-8 15-12

Zwiebler is in good shape right now, winning against German No.2 Jens Roch (WR 41) and Dicky Palyama (WR 19). By The way, his World Ranking is currently 112. Maybe Jonassen/Kaldau is next.

Fischer Nielsen/Larsen beat Logosz/Mateusiak 15-12 15-11

Tony Gunawan and Howard Back are through easily 15-10 15-3 against Claes/Mawet...

Kenneth Jonassen is leading 12-5 against Niels Kaldau and Pernille Harder/Helle Nielsen seem to be having an easy job against Carola (Kournikova?) Bott/Karin Schnaase 10-2 in the first game...

if both of them are healthy, I believe they will win the Dutch Open's Men's Double title(as this is a 1 star tournament like the US Open). The big test will come next week, when they travel to Denmark for the Denmark Open. Will they have enough energy and gas left in the tank?? Are they traveling to Germany in 2 more weeks for the German Open??..And when they come back to the U.S., will they be healthy and fortunate without any injury. I know Tony wants to qualify to play for the World Championship next year..Let's hope for the best..

MARC ZWEIBLER!

Does anyone have any information about his performance at the tournament. I was very impressed to see that he is continuing to produce results after winning the European Junior Championship.

Congrats MARC!

was watching MD finals with a friend. he pointed out to me that most of the US points came when Tony served and that Bach's service was easier to tap and often put him and his partner in compromising positions.

but they won anyway :)

I must agree on what Cooler says that Gunawan is the best of them, and that he is the one who wins the most points for them. I played Howard 2 times before when he played together with Kevin Han, and i won the matches easilly. Tony is very good at the moment, he is probally one of the best in wolrd on the net, it is very difficult to get the ball "away" from him, and when you do Howard is very quick to get the next ball to keep the pressure.

the ones who saw the game maybe noticed that me and Peter were playing good until 7-7 in both sets, when Tony "wins" 4-5 point on his serve. That is really worldclass!!! We were very frustrated with this and couldn´t get back in the game. And i must also say that it was me and Peter´s 8th game in 4 days on a hard floor, so our legs were maybe a little tirred, so we didn´t had the same speed as in the semi´s, were we played one of our best games ever.

Well i big congrats to Tony and Howard for there 2 wins in a row, i hope i will get a new match against them soon...
