One thing I don't like is the service judge, always want to make drama.

Not right that a title should be won on a net block.

LCW should better ask LD how to play a slow controlling style of play. So far his attacking play is working much better, for example against SWH.

Well, well, well, the only one who can handle this White Dragon, is the Chinese Dragon, at the moment, no one else.

Then LD will say "it is better that you and I retire now."

Axelsen is weak vs left handed Control style like Momota, LHI and Lin Dan (unless he screw up like in WC)

Regardless of the result, that was an incredible game, not one based on physicality as both look really exhausted. It wasn't as much an adrenaline-filled game but it was really tense despite the multiple questionable service fault. Line judges have been amazing, don't think there was even a wrong call on that end. Wish Lee could've won that though, but alas, congrats to Axelsen.

This is a game to learn from, how to win points without hard smashes and otherworldly athleticism.

Well, as far as I see it, the White Dragon has beaten both, the Chinese Dragon and LCW recently. And LD.

Mate, 20 years of Professional International Badminton for Lee Chong Wei and I would think this dilemma of Attacking or Defending would have been solved by now.

    Well never ending..

The fact that LCW is still WR2 when the year ends mean he is still the second best in the world at age of 35!

Incredible! he should keep playing. No way he should retire.

He is 2 points away from WR1.

What a great match to end this season ! ! !

The laurel of the best finals' match still goes to the WS battle between Akane vs Sindhu though IMO :p

A bit sad that this is the last Dubai Finals. Dubai seemed like such a perfect place to host this end of the year major tournament.

Let's see which city will be the next host

Apparently not. He should have played all out in game two.

*facepalm* but indeed, Lee's physical won't allow him to play to his fullest for 3 sets anymore, much less few games in consecutive days.

Not sure if this is the start of decline of LCW. But it is the start of supremacy of this man- ‘VA’. Let’s see if he can join the elite 3
