i hope she doesn't make this finishing second all the time a habit ... coz that wouldn't do justice to her badminton career
Your critics do not have any bounds. Always going for it. She is one of the best players who has great sportmanships in the circuit. Even Steen mentioned it once. Watch Olympics finals. Sent from my SM-G600FY using Tapatalk
I'm going to endulge myself on this ****-weathered sunday and count the major matches. Don't think anyone comes close in sheer volume of games played. Sindhu and TTY probably, certainly no men.
I think timer it a bit too harsh. But I think the usage of timer is good for the umpire to have time reference. But along the match progression, he can change the timer a bit longer. I think that should works
Damn it! Sindhu lost again in a big final and in a close match. Why does this happen again and again? Sindhu should work on her stamina.
Akane really should learn to talk more a little bit ahahaaa There was time at the podium that it was so awkward for Sindhu. Sindhu wants to step up to the top podium, as the usual case, for photo. But Akane did not aware and said nothing. Sindhu then just waited and waited at the closest position to the top podium awkwardly hahahahhahaa
I don't know what the heck you are talking about. She smashes a kill into her opponents face and does not offer a hint of apology. Is that what you call "great sportsmanship"?She also does that on a regular basis apparently, saw her do it to CYF at the French Open as well, straight into the face from three yards, fist pump instead of apology follows. Do your bias-goggles filter that out? The timewasting after every lost point as well, and the way she indicates "not ready" several times to break the opponents concentration on serve? The way she leaves opponents waiting to shake hands standing at the net? Must be nice to live in the parallel universe. Or maybe I'm living in it and just imagine these things. Whatever it may be, I value sportsmanship, as it is a clear indicator of character. And I respect players who show that regardless of where they are from, like AY, NO, KS, CL ...basically a lot of the male players. It's much better in the men's game than in the women's game, it has to be said.
I feel Sindhu is following the step of LCW in terms of second place This match is crucial for her confidence and her losing it seems gonna put huge burden every time she reach a major final in the future
Agree, it's absolutely silly how good they all are and how great the quality of the sport is. I really can't think of any sport around that produces so much constant excitement and quality as the badminton WS. And to think CM and NO weren't even here. Crazy.
