Sure but that's irrelevant now. That policy is set by BWF. Players qualifying by the rules is set by BWF. End of story and wishful thinking. Players have to win in order to qualify.

Very excited for this tournament. It's only been about three months since I started watching badminton, so it will be the first time for me following alongside a major event. Hoping that Okuhara will be all recovered and in good condition. I'd love to see her play TTY. It seems they haven't played each other in more than a year, and only six games altogether.
