Wow, India sends 7 MS; while Denmark 6 MS, Malaysia and China are both 5 MS.

I thought LD was listed in the entry list, where is he now? disqualified in the qualification round?

First round bye for top-seed Ahsan/Setiawan, it's rare chance to get bye in SS Premier level.

very interesting MD 1st round match:

Fu Haifeng/Hong Wei (2 tall punks) vs Kim Ki Jung/Kim Sa Rang (2 short punks)

Ko Sung Hyun/Shin Baek Choel (new pair up) vs Angga Pratama/Ryan Agung Saputra (young blood)

I don't think Angga/Ryan can beat Ko/Shin. I hope they prove me wrong.

Lindaweni Fanetri vs Wang Yihan again in the 32-round. With the current form of Lindaweni, I'm not sure she can beat Wang Yihan again.

Tontowi Ahmad/Liliyana Natsir is in bottom-half draw, and if everything goes well, they will meet Xu Chen/Ma Jin in semi final. Cannot wait to see...

This is very disappointing. She's got to build from strength to strength, and I think she's more than capable these days of taking on the top guns.

All it'll take is more exposure, a few more breakthroughs, and she'll be a certifiable threat. The problem is that Carolina seems to be very selective about her choice of tournaments even when one thinks that it wouldn't be such a hassle for her to take part in a competition that is held in Europe.
