If it's the QF, then easy peasy for him to overtake CJ to be CHN MS1. Unless Tago can add another CHN notch to his already impressive belt.
Whether or not LD is at MS1 or MS2 position, the overall strength and composition of Chinese MS will be maintained. From what I see, LD has huge chance to nail guaranteed pts at MS2, though he would in most probability nail 'em too at MS1 (but with more difficulty). In contrast, BCL/CJ will be severely compromised at MS1, but better off at MS2 and 3.
It was a hard All-England tournament for Taufik, he really gave it all and it was tough losing such a tight battle .... not enough time to recover to mount another challenge.
I tip Chen Long to do well in this turno. I like his style and he's very tall too. After losing to CJ in Swiss Open in a tight match, i think he's out to prove a point. If he can beat TH in the semi, he can go all the way. A part from that I like to see Hayom to do well, he's INA best talent since TH.
if he does, am sure lin dan will spring more surprises to meet him! business these days is very competitive but economy can turn around anytime if he is competitive enough! so it doesn't matter ld in ms1 or ms2, the overall china ms strength is there but who is the last one, ms3 is more important when it comes to a 2-2! true, only if he can have the same dream like in eag 09... is chen long still using some sort of knee support? if that's the case my bet is on th!
It seems that ZM has not withdrawn yet..may be HKG association needs her to be there as HKG Badminton needs POINTS to secure funding from HKG Sport council....
Really? Thats good news to other players. Any reason why CL withdrew? I thought its a perfect preparation for him for the upcoming TC, if in fact CL will be the 3rd MS for CHN.
Hope this will make Chan Kwong Beng fare better in the men's singles. I don't think either of them are injured. CL would certainly be in the squad, it is either he plays as 3rd MS or in the reserve but as for Du Pengyu, why his withdrawal then?
