The mens singles will be the most competitive, with 64 players contesting against each other in the main draw to proceed to the latter rounds I will predict Lee Chong Wei, Qiao Bin, Simon Santoso and Tien Minh Nguyen to sail to the semi-finals However, Daren Liew, Huan Gao and Chong Wei Feng could prove me wrong

I've just read that Lin Dan has been registered for the Asia Badminton Championships to be held in Chinese Taipei,16th - 21st Apr. CHN is practically sending their full force including WS LXR, WYH, WSX, MD Liu XL/Qiu ZH, Chai Biao partnering Guo Zengdong, Hong Wei partnering Shen Ye but 'Wind and Cloud' i.e. Fu/Cai not participating; the WD and XD will also be in full force; the other MS are Chen Long, Wang ZM, Du PY, Chen Jin, and Gao Huan. However, Lee CW and Taufik Hidayat are notable absentees.
