Just wondered about this and couldn't find a thread on it previously.

Do you put a headcover on your racket before putting in your badminton bag?

I know its not that important a question but i'm just interested.

Personally i do but am thinking getting rid of them as they take up too much space!

Never used to but now those little cloth bags are around and I happened to have a few I figured I might as well use them as they weigh nothing and hardly take up any space.

I use the full racket cloth bags to prevent damage. I put them on every other racket (the more expensive ones) to preven the rackets from clashing each other in the bag.

use to use them in the past but now a days i just put my racuqets straight into my bag, i have a lot of those cloth bags too that come with racquets these days but i don't really use them. I like to just zip open my bag and go not having to remove a racquet, and its not really gonna get scratched or chipped while being in my bag, unless being a little to violent with my bag which hasn't happened.

on top and carrying on average 4-5 racquets at a time, sometimes more while traveling/tournaments and well it would take up a lot of extra space to have the covers on them as well when i could save space just not using them.

True, true. Just using them now in these freezing conditions, probably doesn't help much if at all but just eases the mind a tiny bit extra . (I walk to the hall, only takes about 15 minutes or so)

touche, a little protection against the elements is better than nothing for sure, as well as easing the mind too. although im outside with my bag im not really outside for to long and when i get to school bag stays in the locker which is a warm area until training at night or after morning training.

i didn't truly realize how much space the racquet covers actually took up though until kids started giving me their racquets in covers to string for them since it has been so long since ive used them and just even 1 took up a lot of room.

I usually only carry 3 rackets to a badminton session and I put the middle one in a soft cloth case and then place two rackets adjacent to it. Saves space and they won't make contact directly with each other.
