Yeah, it looks like bwtv will stream 8 matches from now on (ofc final 5 matches). At least they put up 8 live matches for tomorrow I hope Koo/Tan can make an impact on this Ina Open! I really would like to watch Yoo/Shin vs. the Thais! Thai vs. Kor almost garantees long ralley matches. Marc has a good chance to reach the QF, Michels/Golizewski face a tough match.
A lot of surprising results have happened here, MD #1 & MS #2 seed were already out yesterday, will we see another big upset today?
Obviously Chen Long could not handle the frenzy when he played Tommy Sugiarto losing 11-21, 18-21. The crowd support for Tommy must have been deafening. Unfortunately Taufik Hidayat could not ride on the crowd support losing to Sai Praneeth B in his swan-song match 21-15, 12-21, 17-21. We will all miss Taufik one of the most talented badminton players of all time who had won both the Olympic and world championship titles. The good thing is that Taufik will continue to be involved in badminton with his badminton center and hopefully we will see his charges winning titles in the not-too-distant future.
I am personally quite pleased with the performances of our INA players in R32, with the exception of Rian/Angga. The tough matches have started and will continue to roll until the Final. INA is guaranteed to have 3 quarter-finalists and the remaining spots will be decided from 10am local time today. MS R16 Takuma Ueda vs Dionysius Hayom Rumbaka - depends on which side of Hayom shows up today. He has lost to Ueda twice in a row and the Japanese does have a higher ranking than him. A victory will mean a small progress for Hayom. Marc Zweibler vs Alamsyah Yunus - how much energy does Alam has in his tank after that 82 mins victory over Tago. I am hoping he can reach QF. Ajay Jayaram vs Sony Dwi Kuncoro [4] - Chen Long's defeat opens the way for Sony to reach another Indonesia Open Final. Wong Wing Ki vs Tommy Sugiarto - another hard one to predict. Tommy won in their last encounter in HK SS last year. So, let's hope he can beat Vincent again. WS R16 Hera Desi vs Bae Youn Joo - Hera is in R16 thanks to May's withdrawal. The Korean girl should take this match. Bellaetrix Manuputty vs Petya Nedeltcheva - they have never met before and for the sake of the INA's crowd, I hope Bella can progress to QF. MD R16 Mohd Ahsan/Hendra Setiawan vs Berry Angriawan/Yohanes Rendy Sugiarto - Berry/Rendy prove that they are probably better than Bona/Afiat after the tight victory over the German pair. However, I don't think they can beat Ahsan/Hendra. Fu Haifeng/Cai Yun [5] vs Andrei Adistia/Markus Fernaldi Gideon - it will be a massive upset if Andrei/Markus are to beat Fu/Cai. Markis Kido/Alvent Yulianto Chandra vs Koo Kien Keat/Tan Boon Heong [3] - the much-maligned Koo/Tan should at least reach QF. Takeshi Kamura/Keigo Sonoda vs Mohd Ulinnuha/Ricky Karanda Suwardi - it's also time for Ulin/Ricky to reach a QF in SS/SSP tourneys. However, the Japanese pair will not be easy meat. WD R16 Anneke Feinya Agustin/Della Destiara Haris vs Pradnya Gadre/Ashwini Ponnappa - a tricky tie for the newly formed pair and it will be a good achievement for Feinya/Della to reach QF. Pia Zebadiah Bernadeth/Rizki Amelia Pradipta [7] vs Lauren Smith/Gabrielle White - Pia/Rizki should reach QF. Gebby Ristiyani Imawan/Tiara Rosalia Nuraidah vs Greysia Polii/Nitya Krishinda Maheswari - a brilliant move by the INA WD coaches to pair up Grace/Nitya yet again as they already won a GPG title last week. Another QF finish this week will be very good and they should reach top 10 by end of the year. Vita Marissa/Variella Aprilsasi vs Misaki Matsutomo/Ayaka Takahashi [2] - what a finale it was in yesterday's last match. The Japanese pair nearly lost, only to overturn the young INA pair right at the end. I personally don't think Vita/Lala can beat them. XD R16 Xu Chen/Ma Jin [1] vs Markis Kido/Pia Zebadiah Bernadeth - match of the day in XD today. Can Kido/Pia upset the top-seed? It will be very very hard for them to achieve it. Riky Widianto/Richi Puspita Dili vs Vladimir Ivanov/Anastasia Chervaykova - Riky/Richi have been included in the WC team this year and they should show the appropriate result, i.e. by beating the tricky and lanky Russian pair. Chris Langridge/Heather Olver vs Mohd Rijal/Debby Susanto [8] - Rijal/Debby should fulfill their seeding. Fran Kurniawan/Shendy Puspa Irawati vs Tontowi Ahmad/Liliyana Natsir [2] - an "easier" match for Owi/Butet and they should progress.
Ivanov/Sozonov continue their journey in Indonesia to quarter final. So do Mateusiak/Zieba and Boonsak Ponsana

Carolina has awesome coverage and also quite a range of shots... Good to see her rising... Busanan is overwhelmed at the moment. Even though she is prodigious but she still need some experience under her belt.
