Kaori Imabeppu is not a new player, she has been on the International circuit quite while, maybe around 3-4 years ago, but then she disappeared and reappeared again... Her achievement was also not that good before, so beating Sun Yu just now has really surprised me..

That's your fault! You told me not to come... :D

Besides, the Boss didn't approve my request for leave.... says I'm still on probation... :( ;)

Most probably , Sai praneeth will get a chance to play Taufik Hidayat in the first round. My favourite player vs my country player. But i should be loyal to my country. So, i go for Sai Praneeth(if he overcomes Kento momoto in second round of qualifier)..

P.V.Sindhu is not participating this tournament.. Hence, it will be some sort of relief to some of the top players ...

Y'know... Part of the reason of how tennis could enjoy its current level of popularity & prestige is its ability to break the boundary of country-fanaticism.

    And it's Momota, not Momoto.

So - LD is not playing?
Can't see him in the tournament tree or qualification round.
    Do anybody know the reason?

/edit: found the thread :D sorry

Why did you let the cat out of the bag?

Why I asked you not to go was because I knew LD would withdraw and there would be no LD vs TH match and you would waste your air ticket.

But if you still want to support TH in his final tournament, then you should be in Jakarta.

Leave not approved? Are you referring to BC? You were head hunted and based on your performance so far, an increment is confirmed.

Yeah, although I have not seen her play but she has been on my radar too since last 8 months. I have followed a few games of her. She and Okuhara are about the same level and age.

    You mean Nozomi Okuhara?
Hmm, They are not on the age, in fact, Kaori is way older than Nozomi...
From what I've found, Kaori should be 26/27 this year, while Nozomi was born on March 13th 1995, so she is sill 18 years old..
And I don't think they are on the same level, I rate Nozomi so much higher..

Oh, then in that case I may have been mistaken about Kaori's age. I thought she belonged to that group 2 or 3 junior players who were coming up the ranks. I didnt get the hang of their names yet. I knew Okuhara is not 20 yet coz she was world junior champion, nevertheless I have seen Kaori play few matches. If she's above 22 then that pretty much makes her late bloomer.

And there it is, their unbeatable record is broken...
No Chinese qualifiers will advance to main round, seems like other country really starting to catch up..

Noooope. The CBA don't consider INA PSS as major tournament. Lose also okay because they didn't have to give their 100% :)
