Dane's running out of steam after the mid-game interval, CHN 18-12 up in the decider

In a long game like that you can't help but wonder what difference ZY&ZN's 'easy' semifinal made...

Hendra/Ahsan played consistent and agressive against KOR pair, 1 SS and 1 SSP title in this year, hopefully they will continue positive trend towards World Championships next August :)

China bags 3, Malaysia and host Indonesia share 1 title each. The most thrilling final match should be Juliane Schenk v Li Xuerui. Danish XD practically can't do too much in third game...

Congratz to Li Xuerui for her first title in Indonesia and also China's first SS / SSP title in 2013. Now China has 3 more WS titles compare to host Ina :p

Everyone has their moment of glory. In the men's side, even if china wins the IO MS and MD every year, it'll take them to 2030+ to match INA titles. :p

Already sacked? Is that the right decision?

The right decision is to sack the BAM Exco ..... but that was never going to happen even with the hugely embarrassing Sudirman Cup show.

Malaysia has had a long list of top foreign and local coaches (Morten Frost, Professor Park, Han Jian/Yang Yang combo, Yoo Yong Sung, Rexy, Misbun Sidek) being sacked or forced to leave, why not do it to another local one so that the Exco could keep their job.

That was why I told clawhammers that I wished for LCW to follow his good buddy Taufik and retire quickly..... he has done enough and has nothing more to prove. I can respect his consistency and achievements, without him trying to do another Olympics/World title challenge.

This way, Malaysia will have no silverware for years, and then maybe, things are going to happen properly and the right people will come to head the BAM exco. Just like the mid-70s after Punch Gunalan's retirement ........

OK. So he's not been sacked. BAM comments I'll leave for the BAM thread.
