Hmm..some side comments.. ..Not sure if Tony is traveling with the U.S. squad or not-->yannie, any sighting of him?? As far as i know, Tony played recently in the Danish club there, but last check he is here in the U.S./L.A (he was even playing recently, this past weekend, at a local club in L.A.)..He doesn't play in the Japanese league, only Candra is playing there, or will be playing there. ..those 2 matches have got to be the biggest upsets for Day 1 actions..I also don't know how the veterans could've lost to the USA pair, by looking at the stats..Although, IIRC, CTF and, at that time it was CCE, also lost to Howard B., and at that time Tony G., in the 2005 World Championships.. ..as far as we know, at least myself, our Hau-ge has committed himself to just enjoy the matches in this DO..He might post some of his post/pre matches comments later in here, though..
I heard from INA players that he is in USA now, not participating in Denmark Open.. and coming to Denmark on the 6th of Nov..
How does Wacha defeat Boonsak ends up with 4 of these??? Wacha is always the favorite to win...(joke) plus this wasn't the first time Wacha defeated Boonsak anyways. Wacha proved that his win over Boonsak back in China Masters 07 was no fluke!!! Wait until tomorrow when Wacha defeats LCW, and you can have 5 of these ready... Or I can copy and paste the following for you tomorrow Tomorrow's(Day 3) upset... Wacha over Lee Chong Wei
PBSI players leaving Denmark on Monday.. They fly via Billund.. ZZZZZZZ.. KILL.. why they didn't book flight via Copenhagen..

not only that, CTF/LWW lost to the american pair?! ponsana lost to wacha! (although no suprise there ), Paaske/rasmussen lost to the younger danes Boe/mogensen, and last but certainly the greatest, match IMO, the top thai XD pair beat Nova and Butet ....ouch =\
Taufiq Hidayat Akbar Officially Taufiq Hidayat Akbar's last club before leaving indonesia was Jaya Raya. However unofficially it was another club called SURYA BAJA in Surabaya, Indonesia. After he left PBSI he was not happy with living in JKT and the Jaya Raya sort of gave up hope on him. So he moved to Surabaya and join SURYA BAJA. His hometown is pasuruan around 1 hour away from Surabaya. In 2005 he travelled around from SINGAPORE to TAIWAN to play and coach for small clubs or even to train with their national teams. In 2006 he was signed by a 1st division danish club LILLEROD to play in the danish league. That year he helped LILLEROD to get promoted to the Premier League. In 2007 he moved to another 1st division club TRITON ALBORG. So now he is offcially under this club. They are paying his expenses to go to a few tournaments. During Denmark off-seasons he still go to SINGAPORE to help train with the ir national team. So this is a short story of a travelling badminton player and I wish him well today against SONY. May the best man of the day win.
the other's are suprised,,,, but top THAI XD win is not surprised...they deserved it....i have predict that before,,,,
Nova and Butet losing was not what i was thinking, given their recent performances...but albiet, the thai pair definately deserved the win, and are not far off top of the world...i'm betting that the top 5 XD pairs are within range of each other...so it wasn't a BIG suprise...just sad that Nova/Butet were in my fantasy team and they lost T__T
hey jade.. how is surabaya.. ? today.... hot... are you trying to find an excuse for zwy/wyl lost ... you must be consistent.. be wise and mature fan (hmmm i remember you 'whined' about 'childish' fans of indonesia...)... you should send congrats to china's opponent if he/she can beat a china player.. that's one of components to be wise and mature fan no offense... ya
