    India @ the Danish Open

Indian representation is limited to the top Men's and Women's singles players Anup S and Saina N and the top Women's Dbls combo of Shruthi K/J Gutta.

Anup S - has had unimpressive performances at BitBurger and the Dutch Open losing in Rd 2 both times to the german Zweibler. The Danish Open would be a good place to kick start his performances in his european leg, He is currently based in Denmark and is training along with Anand Pawar
with the club "Aarhus" and should win over the dane Persson.

Saina - after two consecutive QF apperances in Macau and the Dutch Open a tough battle awaits Saina in RD1 facing 3rd seed Chinese Zhu Lin. This match will test Saina's all round play and mental strenghth and a prelude to see where her game is against more reputed and tougher opposition.

The Shruthi and Jwala combo - face the IND pair of Jauhari/Irawati (qualifiers) in their 1st rd, after their 3 set loss to Polli and Novita in the Dutch open they would be setting sights on a improved performance this time around.

In qualifying today A.Pawar lost in the 2nd rd once gain to Scott Evans while Shruthi and Jwala also lot their respective singles qualifying rounds. Chetan Anand also was knocked out in qualifying in Rd 1. India's other womens singles players Trupti Murgunde and Aditi Mutatkar did not feature in this tournament.

i think anup and saina have been very unlucky with their draws.
anup might win his first match, but he'll be up against it in the 2nd round.

    Team Thailand @ Denmark SS
    XD
    1. Sudket/Sarale vs Nova/Butet
    - A very tough opening match for the veterans. The combined experience of INA Pair should be the key point to their win.

    MS
    1. Boonsak vs Wacha
    - A more freshened BP should hold advantages over this Polish Giant killer.
    2. Poompat vs Kasper Odeum
    - The former was in excellent form during MSQ yesterday, he have the ability to knock down the host player.

    MD
    1. Sudket/Pattapol vs Guo ZD/Xie ZB
    - Expected a 3 match thriller, with the Chinese to win

    WD
    1. Duang/Kunchara vs Reiko/Ogura
    - The Japanese Cuties' form wasn't that impressive recently.. Chances for Thai Pair to create an upset is there..

    From..

..our Hau-ge, as reported in another thread/post which i can't find, it is because of conflict of schedule; not because of injury. Apparently Candra is or will be playing/competing again in the Japanese league sometimes this month..They will resume their SS actions next month in the HK and China Open..

In first set, LHI did not fell like to play at all..there was no soul in this match....I have not seen that he got a mere 4 points only...in 3rd set, LHI was able to come back but Scott got his momentum and fought all the way...good for LD.;);) ....
