Their ranking is not bad, I think, 55th world XD.
They should compete more often in competition GP or GP Gold level in order to improve their ranking, and then they will another different good drawing.

Unfortunately, they are not able to stop host's pair.
    Joachim/Christina to second round.
But, at least good job for Croatian pair. Try again next time

    Robert/Nadiezda to second round.
Not satisfying result as they fail to get revenge.

But, good side for Hendra as he can safe energy and concentrate in MD.
He could not be injured as playing in two events is sometimes risky.

Anand making a belated comeback. 11-20 to 16-20. But it's too little too late. Hu Yun wins 21-15, 15-21, 21-16

I think Daren Liew must have graduated from the LCW School of Injury Excuses. Sure duped Dicky into thinking he had an easier match, hehe :p:p

    Anyway, congrats to Liew

Persson coming through as expected ;). Must've missed when Baxter was elevated into Persson's class to have people PAW Baxter's way :p.

Plus Persson is playing at home which makes it doubly hard for Baxter to win.

..imo, Persson is just a better overall player than Baxter, nothing really to do with homecourt..
..Liew Daren could definitley win if he can force Dicky to a long rubber match and make Dicky use all of his stamina; that's Dicky's achille's heel..Now, the next match for LD (vs. Yun Hu) could be a tricky one; and it could be his last one..
..certainly! what better opportunity for kuwichert's fave MS player to win his first SS title..;)

Up next for the youngster Axelsen will be his compatriot; that should be a good battle..

yep - hope so, he might make history - 6 years after winning an OG Gold winning a SS title - could be great achievement, Who else could do that? we would need to wait until 2014 to see LD doing that - can anybody imagine that? LOL - buddies just take it as it is - or better say as it will be - hopefully!
by the way - did they mention there the Poster goes to? my old yonex racket is still ok - and a Head racket?? guess I would gift it somewhere, but my new shoes worked well!

..kuwichert, looking at the MS draw, TH still has a couple of small stumbling blocks along the way. But i think should he reach the Final Rd., he will most likely win the title..
