A rubber game in just 18 minutes duration??
Ko Sung Hyun couldn't change his game or adapt any better with Lee Yong Dae. So today's result is conceivable and somewhat expected. He can't change his fast enough on defense, he doesn't move forward to the net on the drives and barely intercepted anything at the net. Of course Lee Yong Dae tried to help, but doesn't work because KSH doesn't place his shots in a position where they can play to their advantage... Anyway, he's going to enlist soon. But when he returns, hope he can change his game and surprise alot of us.
I watched MD match involving Ko/Lee . Really , ko is the one who did all the damage. Ko won few titles because of his partnership with LYD. Not because of his work. After dismantling, there is no tournament where ko showed his talent . I saw LYD shaking his head many times out of frustration because of Ko's mistakes.

Admitedly, TTY should have taken G2 to force the rubber even though matchpoint down as she played better than WSX today who isn't as sharp but a bit too passive in this match. Still, I'd say the attacking player tends to be the first to commit error both forced and unforced when the opponent is defending very well which WSX is known for. However, when WSX is in her element, she's able to push her opponent all over the court, forcing the latter to twist and turn while WSX turns on the heat. As this is only the opening round, some players tend to take a bit longer time to settle in since there is no easy R1 opponent for them to warm up, so they may occasionally appear somewhat tentative.
Not a good start for Porntip's prospects, losing a three-setter to Sung JH who is never an easy proposition for anyone.
