Lee Chong Wei (MAS) vs Boonsak Ponsana (THA)
It is Lee Chong Wei's title to lose. Although he had tough matches in the second round and the quarter finals, he cruised past Nguyen Tien Minh without much difficulty in the semi-finals. Although I don't consider Boonsak to be better than Nguyen Tien Minh, he is not to be underestimated, as he brough down Peter Hoeg Gade. 70%(I am optimistic.)

Bae Youn Joo (KOR) vs Wang Xin (CHN)
The person who caused the major upset in Semi-Finals goes up against Wang Xin. My prediction : Wang Xin for the title, in 2 sets as Youn Joo should be tired from the gruelling 3-setter.

Koo Kien Keat/Tan Boon Heong (MAS) vs Guo Zhendong/Xu Chen (CHN)
It is KKK/TBH's title to lose. The last time they met, it was in the Super Series Masters Finals, but Guo/Xu won. So, count on them for the upset, as KKK most likely won't take it seriously. My opinion : KKK/TBH 55:45 Guo/Xu.

Ma Jin/Wang Xiaoli (CHN) vs Du Jing/Yu Yang (CHN)
    50:50.

Tao Jiaming/Zhang Yawen vs Thomas Laybourn/Kamilla Rytter Juhl
I am not clear about these two pairs. Tao/Zhang have been doing great lately, so they might just win their Malaysian Open title here. I don't know.

Will it be 1 title or 2 titles for M'sia??..

    ..my gut feeling says:
MS - Totally, it's LCW's title to lose. However, i'm going out on a limb and gonna say Boonsak to pull one out.
WS - Battle of the 2 southpaws. I'm picking the last remaining Wang.
WD - What can i say, 2 brute forces (DJ & YY) vs. 2 clever forces (MJ & WXL) will be going at it again just like practice. And I'm picking the clever forces.
MD - Ah Koo & Ah Tan to continue to show off, dance and win the title. It's theirs to lose.
XD - It's gonna be an interesting battle. I'll say Danes to squeeze one out.

    ..enjoy the festivities..

if Bae Youn Joo can exhaust WYH, then it should tell us something. I thought her win over Zhou Mi in the 1st round really put in some confidence in her. She might give Wang Xin a stiff challenge, so we'll see.

LCW vs BP : The only thing that can deny LCW from taking the MO today is our typical Boleh disease: Win one and lose the next syndrome disease.

MD : This is tricky. Its better for KKK/TBH to lose this one. They, especially KKK need some serious grounding. Victory for KKK/TBH today will do more harm for this pair in the long run because they (KKK) will get big headed and they will be found out later especially in tourneys where FHF/CY, MK/HS, LYD/JJS and that new Danish pair are playing. Sometimes in order to move forward, we need to take 2 steps backward.
