Korean Team Gave Up The Semi-Finals.

I just called a former member of the Korean National Squad.
He told me that the reason why the Korean line-up is so strange is simply the points in the Korean Pension System for national sports players. According to this point system Jang Youngsu (MS), Ha Jungeun (WD) and LeeCheolho (MD) weren't fielded yet and wouldn't gain any precious points for their pension which can only be collected in certain competitions like Olympic Games etc.

It doesn't matter if they really play or not. They just have to be named in at least one match.

So that's the reason why Lee CH plays in MD in spite of the fact that he is a singles specialist. There is no serious intention or will to win the semi finals match against China.

hmmm...chinese won't be using their top line WS and WD against the koreans tonite..."preserving them" for against the indos in the finals?

the chinese must be quite confident over the korean women... as well sure of their guys and MX will win tonite  at the very least to go into the finals tomorrow

thats means they are really unsure of their guys against the indos tomorrow and need to ensure the women will win in the finals to lock in some points:cool:

as in not wanting to risk their top women tonite as tomorrow is more crucial

    ouch.

well at least the coaches are taking care of the player's financial well-being.

that probably means it is not worth staying up till 4-7am to watch this match. i had plan to stay up even though i have to be at a class at 9am.

thanks economet for the insight, i don't think anyone else in the media have figured this one out.

With the line up that produced by Korea, we don't need to see full 5-games.

What a disappointment!:crying: Anyway 1 minute from now to witteness the demolishing game.

BUT I WILL STILL SUPPORT KOREA! its such a hard thing for ra and kim to come back and yet now we're not going to see them play their last match. :crying: i seriously want korea to win. china's always winning everything. sudirman cup is in fact in favour to them, according to the line-up.

Maybe she is under too much pressure in her first Sudirman Cup event?
