i don't think it is completely over for Denmark. Sorensen should take this point for Denmark. and then JR/LP have a good chance against Sigit/Candra.

then when WD is left, the real fight will start! (and i will lose a lot of sleep...)

the 1st set was too fast, maybe even played less than 10 minutes..too much fast rallies by both players..Fransisca needs to vary her shots more and take her time, slow down the birdie..It seems she just hits the shuttle as it comes to her without thinking to either vary her shots pace and angle..Anyway, win or lose, it will be a good experience for her, first time participating in a team event..

The Japanese umpire, Sano, has a habit of saying "two" as "ni (in Japanese for two)".

Just now, he was corrected by an official, the umpire apologized and changed "ni" to "two".

It was strange to hear "ni" three, "ni" four, etc.

she seems to have plenty so far. but she did do quite a few jumpsmashes.

Hari moves very slowly around the court. Sorensen isn't taking advantage of that. and Hari seems to be taking advantage of Sorensen by trying to prolong the rally.

It appears Hari's the one taking the naps on court - she must have hit the deck at least half a dozen times now

perhaps the danes are geared up/prepared this tournament to beat the chinese and overlook other teams

maybe Hari has something we don't know. with Sorensen a bit carried away in the second game, she have spent a bit of energy staying in the offense. the 3rd game will be quite interesting.

Fransisca won the 2nd set and is the result of her playing under control and more "smart" now, eventhough she still hits some bad shots..She is mixing the shots with more variety, not just simple clear and high returns, making Camilla run from back to front and back...Third set will be a battle of the "fit"..:).

Hari now leading 6-1. a risky strategy from the start to let Sorensen lose her energy? perhaps they already know Sorensen's game. crafty indeed if that is the case.

    i want to watch MD!!!

yes, sorensen missed her chance for the match in the second game..3rd is more formality..as their individual momentum changed drastically in the 2nd game

same as MS (peter/taufik) first game almost already decided the match

Wow, who would think INA could beat DEN 3 - 0? Their target is only to reach semi and now they could be in final.

the reason chinese girls are dominant is because other countries dont have as strong program for their women players

what happened to sorensen is famillar.....

i played XD in a tournament.....my role was smasher killer

won 8 straight games with my partner and LOST the last 2 games (9 and 10) due to over exertion

my arm was sore for over 2 months after that :crying:

my friends tell me in our games during the tournament.they can see afar/at a distance that it was us/ME playing as they can see only ONE person jumping, flying around out of the 4 people in the court...lol

realize my main sin is lack of variety as in like taufik changing tactics in the middle of the match to suit the opponent
