i tend to agree. Taufik is in good form. but mostly was given away by Gade. if Gade had kept up the pace like the first 3/4 of game 1, the result may not be so one sided.

    WS starting now.

Gade was very upset with the last bad call. Did he throw his racquet on the floor? Or just swung his racquet on the floor?

Oh boy, Denmark is in deep trouble. But, perhaps Indonesia's best two disciplines(in comparison to Denmark) are done.

Not all is not yet for the Danes. But wouldn't they feel a bit less distraught had they had Queen Camilla in the lineup?? :)

I don't have enough bandwidth to watch the remaining matches and expect to have enough for tomorrow's finals so I'll refrain from watching the livestream...save it for tomorrow's finals :D

I want to watch the livestream but with a half dozen simultaneous downloads going, it's probably gonna glog down to snail speed and/or crash the comp!

Gotta catch the live scoring and the BF updates!

from the first 6 points of the WS. it looks like Sorensen should be able to beat Hari. Hari is rather slow and miles apart from the best WS players. Sorensen is not close either but certain a better player.

    I didn't see the first set. ;)
I've just read the posts by Kwun how the first set was.
Maybe Gade is still a little bit tired by his match against Lee Hyunil which lasted more than 90 min.

It was always the same in the last tournaments that Gade played excellently but after a long match he lost in the next round without that superb level of concentration.

Hari is only reactive so far, Sorensen is the rally maker and actually try to do something with the birdie. i am not sure if that's just the way Hari plays, or if that is a tactic to wear out Sorensen.

Yes, I agree, the Danes are not done yet...They still could win the next 3, but it will be hard work and uphill..

The Indo WS is not as consistent and good in shot selection..A lot of mistakes..Everytime Camilla Sorensen smashes or return the shots, Fransisca always return it high with a clear and easy for the Danes to keep on smashing..She needs to slow the shuttle down and play more net, mix it up like what Taufik did against Gade-high ball and low ball..mix 'em up..
Perhaps this is her first time playing a team event, a case of early jitters...Hope she can regroup and play normally, hey where's Hendrawan to coach her..

i don't think she is capable of. she didn't look like she is very into the match. something that i have noticed before in team matches where the INA ladies are playing. a stark contrast from the great Susi Susanti. seems to be lacking something in their motivation or fighting spirit.

    11-3 Denmark take first game.

all credit to Sorensen who did all the work of setting up her own rally and keeping up the pace. quite disappointed by the Indonesian lady who didn't show much fighting spirit.

the whole crowd is shouting "Ga You" in Chinese, i wonder who they are cheering for?? :)
