    Indonesia won first game, 15-4.

the major difference is the lady. Natsir is fast, accurate, and all her block goes down and towards the floor. while Juhl was much slower, cover less of the net and whenever she blocks, it is flat and slow. that alone made all the difference in the game.

Seems that Danemark XD is being outplay. Natsir actually made more than Widianto, shes so efficient on the net.

If I was Erikson I would attack widianto instead of Natsir, since she retreive all the shots

not much change in the second game, Juhl continues to be slow and inconsistent, and Natsir keep on playing her fast and accurate game, not allowing any shots passing through the net and pressurizing and penetrating the Danes. there is completely no match.

but this just confirms that in a XD game, the lady player is the crucial player. most guy can do big jumpsmashes and drives, but that won't happen unless the lady sets one up.

next up will be the most anticipated match, Gade vs. Taufik. what a treat for badminton fans today.

Indo's XD just won in straight sets...
Yep, as expected Natsir was the one that control the game, I saw her play at recent Swiss Open and she is quite fast, consistent and very "brave" at the net..Her defense was good also, esp. when Eriksen was smashing, his smashes kept returning back...It would be interesting if Indo goes on to the Final, hopefully China can make it..I want to see how Natsir will fare against Gao Ling...

BTW Kwun, you should upgrade your broadband service to cable..Mine is cable and it's smooth streaming, only a few rare hiccups...

Now, on to the MS..Let's see if PGade can put up a fight and match against Taufik...:).

I gotta wake up at 6 am tomorrow and its 2 am now but who cares :D

Gade Vs Taufik what a threat. Whenever those 2 play I don't mind who will win since they are both my favourite players.

I think taufik will win it in rubber

    KD,
Here is a method from another poster in another forum never tried it myself good luck:
To record you have to download net transport

    http://www.xi-soft.com/download.htm

It usually takes 240 megas for 1 hour play. The steps are as follows now:

    1. Start coolstreaming.

    2. Player starts broadcasting.

    3. In Player go to File

    4. Go to Properties

    5. Go to IP and copy the IP number with Ctrl C

    6. Open Net Transport

    7. Open New Job

    8. Paste the IP number with Ctrl V

    Recording starts automatically.

    9. Once you are finished recording, go to the file and rename it.

Note. If you start recording and pause recording... you will loose all you recorded if you start recording again. In other words, whenever you put pause and you want to keep the recordings, rename the file and start again.

interesting start to the game. after Gade lost two rallies due to unforced error, both are quite careful.

    3-1 Gade now.

Gade is a different man. very composed and seems to have gained and more frequently using more shot variations than before. many shots are well calculated.

Taufik is just his normal self.

but game just started. let see how the game goes when the temperature goes up.

streaming is pretty good. it takes 10min or so for it to stabilize. so far it has been smooth.

Gade's refined his court coverage, often chose to stretch to cover instead of moving. probably a way to economize his movements.

Gade did a series of deceptive shot made Taufik scrambled to the back rear court and eventually hit out. if given enough time, Gade can do some pretty nice deceptive shots.

8-6 Taufik. game is still very tight. each side have their chances to control the pace of the rally. the variation in pace and placement is very very subtle.

    10-11 gade service.

Taufik's jumpsmashes are less accurate than before. often went wildly out.

Gade is soon gonna earn the honor to be a crafty old folk. he seems to have gained quite a few trick shots in his bag of tricks.
