How come my IE on the supposedly "live score" keep showing only completed matches, matches to play and Women's 2nd round of Camila Martin's on court 3 but NO LIVE SCORE at all! It keeps refreshing but back to the same info! Very frustrating.

Ya the server is acting up, probably due to too many connection and request and the server can't handle and due to badnwidth problems.

Sometimes you will get this error.

    PHP:
WarningCan't connect to MySQL server on 'qs512.pair.com
    (61) in /usr/home/horizonq/_private/q_live.inc on line 7

Chen Hong already won. that was pretty fast. there are only a handful of players in the world who can give Chen Hong a scare.

Hmmm... I thought her "little secret" was discovered when she was calling her bf from a phone booth, but not on a cell phone??? ;)

Anway, not important. However, if she keeps this kinda shaky performance, I am afraid that she will be crying on the phone soon... Losing sets to relatively un-known players is not a good sign once she has to face the real deal.

only sometimes? hey, I'm getting lots of times. You guys are being selfish and not letting me have a look in!

Difficult to tell when early matches are won in three games. Chinese haven;t had a good tournament for a long time so some may be match rusty. Zhou Mi seems to need more time to adjust to 'different styles'. Seen it twice now, Sudirman cup 2003 and Japan Open 2001.

This tournament is also a strenuous one. Need to pace oneself to peak near the latter stages.

Jonas and Rikke are currently leading 13-10 in the first. Keep up the good work.

Wong CH should be pleased. He got a good first game and then a run around in the second game but still winning. That would have been a good warmup.

Jonas and Rikke have got the first game

CHENG Rui & WANG Wei beat the 15 seeds.

Ng Wei of Hong Kong is on and winning!! go, man go!
This should be a win for Ng Wei. Saw him play in April. He was looking very steady then. The Indonesian (now playing under Wales) will have had lack of quality match practice.

:D Poor Cheung. Just keep hitting on F5 key to refresh if you see it stays at blank screen for a while.

Kaffie keeps wanting me to look at the blank screen!:(

most interesting matches later I think are

    1) LIU Kwok Wa /Albertus Susanto NJOTO HKG vs LEE Dong-Soo /YOO Yong-Sung

remember Yoo had a knee operation before the tournament. Wonder how much it might have affected him. But since he has recuperated so quickly, I'm guessing it was only minor keyhole surgery.

    2) Schoppe/Fogarty against some Russian pair. If the US pair get through another stage, US badminton is going to be in some turmoil!!!:D

Thanks for the updates guys! A good alternative to logging into live scoring. Could you PLEASE keep special attention to the Hashim brothers matchup? :D

    Thanks.
